The group reconvened after a short break. They looked around and counted heads. Somehow there were only 8 people there.
"Ok, let's get back to work" Director Smith yelled into the crowd. "I need all 9 of you for this scene."
"Well, that might be tricky, since there are only 8 of us here" one of the actors said.
Director Smith looked around, taking mental notes of who was and wasn't on stage where they were supposed to be.
"Where the fuck did Penner go?"
Everybody looked around. Nobody had seen or heard of him since the end of the last scene. The only thing they could find was a handwritten note that someone who was definitely not Penner had stuck on the bulletin board. The message read:
"I speak to thee from the grave most likely. I thought Mafia was about to steam roll us before that epic day kill by Penner and the Primate vote that followed. Good luck, fellow town!"
Nobody had a clue what that meant either.

"Hey Herm, I'll race you to the buffet table!" Nav shouts, already starting that direction before he finishes the challenge.
"You are on!" Herm replied, knowing he could go for a cheese danish right about now.
The two of them race across the stage, pushing and shoving, until just before they get there, Herm trips over a cord, causing a light stand to crash down on his leg. Nav makes it to the table first.
"Yes, I knew I was the fastest" Nav said, with a huge grin on his face.

Mod note: I'm headed to dinner with the family now, and its unlikely I'll be back before deadline. The phase will end at 8 pm, meaning I won't count any votes past that time. I'll get the end of day resolved when I get home.
(P.S. Digging 75 feet worth of trenches to put in a couple french drains in 85 and humid conditions is not a whole lot of fun.) | | |

After the excitement of the previous day, the group was relieved for a slower scene today. Most everybody had a part in this scene, but one noticeable person was missing.
"Do you need me for this scene?" TIB asked Director Smith.
"You are still here?" he replied, puzzled by the question.
"I guess not" TIB replied, dejected, as he walked off the set for the last time. "Guess all the penguins have been defeated."
