To the shampoo only gang- does your hair not feel like straw?

With short hair, it really makes no difference at all conditioner or no conditioner. Only when I'm lazy and don't get a regular haircut do I feel conditioner does anything for my hair.

Can you read? I just looked, and of the 5 different bottles of conditioner I could find scattered around my house, every single one of them said the following in the directions: "After shampooing, apply..."

I did not use 2in1 on my hair today because of what I learned in this thread. I used Dove brand shampoo.

I'm going to continue using my 2-in-1, because I just opened a new bottle not realizing I grabbed the wrong one at the store last time, and I don't want to waste it.
