The sun looks a bit different this morning as it is rising over the mountains to the east of Kashmir. There is something new and exciting going on in the local markets, as the remaining players reconvene for the morning. They slowly start to arrive and aren't sure what to think after the death of TT yesterday. Had they finally rid themselves of their imperial overlords? Freedom was oh so close at this point.
im317 was the first to arrive this morning. He grabbed his morning tea and made his way to the head of the table. "I will take charge today, as we can not afford any more issues" he said to himself. He was slowly starting to figure out the bigger game here, and was primed to finish it, however he could.
Next, Cody arrived. You could sense a little skip in his step this morning after the way the previous day had ended. "How was your night?" he asked im317, but before he could respond Cody said "Mine was great. Slept like a baby."
im317 thought this to be strange, given their current predicament, but couldn't dwell on it too long, as Herm walked in at that moment.
"Hey everyone, how are you all doing this morning?" he asked the assembled group. He looked around, and saw just the three of them. "Oh no, did something happen to Maddie?" he asked.
Cody stood up first and walked towards the door. "I'll go see if I can find her" he said, pushing past the other two.
"Wait for me" im317 said. "I don't entirely trust you."
Cody opened the door, and there stood Maddie, waiting to get in, hands full of nāshtā. "Sorry everyone," she said, "I stopped to bring everyone breakfast and my hands were too full to open the door. I'm sure glad you were on your way out."
They held the door open for her, and she walked in and placed the food on the table. Just then, a loud noise came over what sounded like a loudspeaker.
Cody stood up, reached into has bags, and pulled out a prayer mat. He set it down on the ground, oriented it slightly to the southwest, and began his morning prayers.
This was different, the group thought. Herm and im317 stood up and were about to go investigate, when Maddie's voice broke the silence.
"Can I join you?" she asked. Cody, deep in prayer, only nodded gently in her direction. She brought out a mat from her bad and followed along with him. It was almost like this was a natural occurrence for her.
"What is going on?" asked im317, now starting to get worried. Both Herm and im317 looked at each other in puzzlement.
When the prayers had ended, both Cody and Maddie stood up and went to put their mats back in their bags. "Everybody ready for breakfast?" Maddie asked, pointing to Herm and im317 to take their seats. As they did, they didn't notice that Cody had dug down deep into his bag and had pulled out a revolver. He snuck up behind Herm and pulled the trigger before im317 could warn his friend.

Role: Kashmiri Businessmen
Ability: Each night the player chooses to commute or not. If commuting, the player is cannot be targeted by night actions. Player can not commute on consecutive nights.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Kashmiri |

"Whaa...whaaa...what have you done?" im317 stammered, looking up at Cody.
"Doing something my family has been trying to do for a very long time" he said with a slight smirk starting to form.
"Maddie, get over here, Cody's gone cra..." im317 tried to say, but lost his words as he turned to see Maddie had also retrieved a gun and it was now pointed at him.
"I'm sorry old friend, but it's long past time for the rightful people to control this incredible gift from Allah."
im317 knew what was about to happen. He didn't even try to move, it was pointless.
Maddie pulled the trigger and im317 was no longer with the living.

Cody looked across the table at Maddie, beaming from ear to ear. They had done it. They had finally done it. "It's time" Cody said.
Maddie reached deeper into her bag and retrieved a green and white flag. The two of them walked together out through the door where they had come in that morning. Not too far from the entrance was a barren flagpole. The Kashmiri people hadn't yet decided on a new national flag, which actually worked out well for them. Maddie hooked her flag to the clasps and Cody began to raise it up into the sky.
"We've done it. We've finally done it" Cody said as the flag began to waive in the wind.
"Now, how about that breakfast? I'd hate for it to get cold" Maddie told Cody. The two of them walked back into the building and enjoyed their first breakfast together in their new state.

Ability: Each night this player visits one other person and prays with them, causing them to be roleblocked for the night. This action will also determine if the player is sympathetic to the Pakistani cause or not.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Pakistanis and have 50% (or greater) of the remaining players.

Thanks to everyone for playing. I'll throw the links to the different boards in here once I get them opened up. I'll post some general thoughts later on.
Congrats to Cody (and Maddie, and I guess Ahoda) for winning.

This was the general setup:
Indians (Mafia) - 4 members, group has a factional kill (by assassination). If only one member left, they could carry out their action along with the factional kill, if they wanted.
Pakistanis (Cultafia) - Started with 2 members. Group had a factional kill (by bombing) OR a recruit action to use each night. Group only had 2 total recruit actions to use the entire game. If only one member left, they could carry out their action along with the factional kill/recruit, if they wanted.
Chinese (SK/Arsonist) - One player, could only be lynched, would win and leave game if they ever had 4 living players primed.
Kashmiri (Town) - 10 players, 6 of which could be recruited (if Rodney didn't "cure" them). The 6 who were randomly assigned as recruitable were: Farlig, Gmaj, Lamps, Curtis, Penner, and Maddie. | | |

It was 2 Town vs. 2 Pakistanis, and the Pakistanis could kill at night. There was no point in playing out the day to a draw then ending it N7. | | |

Cult (or Cultafia) has now won 4 of the 5 versions of this series, even though I keep making it harder and harder on them to do it. LOL.
After Ahoda blindly tried recruiting Nav on Night 1 wasting a recruiting action, and after Cody found Maddie to be recruitable but not choosing to recruit her until the last night, I didn't expect them to even be a factor in the end. Good job Cody in being just scummy enough to survive and not be lynched. | | |

To spice this up a bit more, Cody's action went before Rodney's in the OOOp, meaning Cody would have found Maddie as recruitable, but then Rodney would have cured her immediately afterwards, and it might have caused a wasted recruiting action later in the game. | | |

The reason only 6 Kashmiri's could be recruited is because the population of the Kashmir valley is roughly 60% Muslim, whereas Pakistan is almost 100% Muslim, so 60% of 10 people is 6 potential recruits. | | |

Oh, and I gave each scum group (including Badger) the VT role claim, so they all knew that Kashmiri Citizen = VT.
It was fun to watch people who definitely knew better argue for/against those claims. | | |

I was rooting for Badger to get the 4 primings in, to just blow everything up and take a bunch of people with them on the way out.
In retrospect, having to have primed 4 people and them still be alive is very tough to do. Although, the normal SK win condition is to live to the end of the game, so maybe it was slightly easier? Harder? It's hard to say. | | |
