how the fuck did i never die after retracting a doctor claim on day 2 |
you really shouldn't have given a running list of who you protected. as long as we knew who you couldn't protect it gave us free kills. that plus other roles being more of an issue.
|
Bravo to Timmah for somehow being able to survive a survival while refusing to claim and an outed BP and literally giving droplets of information, none of which fit together. |
no bravo to Timmah, he was beyond terrible this game. as a SKer you have to be the last player standing. to stop killing for such a long time arguably goes against playing to win the game. delaying the inevitable doesn't help you win when there are more confirmed town alive then the mafia can kill alone. it just means eventually you will be policy lynched for having survived a kill. |
Respectfully, I have to disagree with you.
Winning as a SK is very hard to start with. Killing every night, and thus pretty much making sure that everyone knows there is a SK, just makes it that much harder. Eventually everyone is going to claim anyway, and it's hard to fake a claim as scum, especially when you have to fake it all the way to last player standing like a SK does. Odds are i would be policy lynched as SK either way because there will be more confirmed roles out there anyway. Unless mafia is winning, in which case mafia has more numbers to get me lynched anyway. It did not go against my win condition in the slightest, and I even discussed it with the hosts before we started.
With my role - BP and scan town - I wanted to see if I could hold off on killing and slide deep into the game. Even better if the cop scans me, and best of all if mafia gf has also flipped. Once I was your N1 target and survived, convincing town that I was BP town and that there was no SK was pretty much my only play.
The goal of my game was to win for me, not to kill so that I can help the mafia win. I Honestly think you're jaded because my lack of killing did you guys no favors. After I made it through the first few days, I actually thought I may have an outside shot, but ultimately curtis' flip did me in I think.

Otherwise, good game town!
Thanks for hosting Brian and badger. I had a great time, and really enjoyed the game.

I think that last line was it. Curtis flip really got you. Until that point we thought there was no sk
Funny how n1 killed cult and put the sk on notice. This game could have been totally different |
The night I did finally kill I lost a WIFOM battle with Jamie. I was banking on mafia maybe holding off and not killing to try and convince town there was no more mafia, and that the SK was top priority (Curtis had already flipped, so the sk confirmation was already on the table). Suddenly there were 3 kills and it was lights out for this guy.
