Day 4: Ari Lynch.

The final train:

Ari (8/9) - Timmah, Curtis, im317, Wikey, Nobert, JC, Schrauben, Canuck, Buffy

Timmah initially said he wanted to hear from im317 to confirm that he had killed Chris before lynching Ari, but in the end he placed the first vote on him before im317 showed. Curtis put the second lynch on Ari for 'pressure'.

You could make a case that either of them were taking the opportunity to easily create a bit of distance between themselves and scum Ari. It should be noted that Curtis unlynched after Ari's fake claim though, whilst Timmah called bullshit immediately.


Are you serious??!?!!? go back and actually read the day. I spent the entire day screaming from the top of my lungs that we needed to lynch Ari because he was blocked. I did the exact same thing the day before with rose.

my predictions:

curtis is mafia
wikey is some sort of third party

Here is the way I see this:

Timmah - could be 3rd party (I am not), but very very little chance of mafia - pushed hard for Ari's lynch and had no qualms at all lynching Redster after posting a big writeup of the votes to date for each player.

Wikey - couild be 3rd party (perhaps?), but very little chance of mafia - was more or less the swing vote that finally got the Ari lynch rolling and was the first vote on Redster;

im317 - could be 3rd party (would be interesting if he's really SK), but very little chance of being mafia - was first 3 on both mafia lynches - 2nd on Ari and the first person to come to my way of thinking on why he should go, after 6 hours of bs that day, and 3rd on Redster

Curtis - is likely mafia - voted Ari early "for pressure", but had no issue unlynching later and never got back on (if you're looking for a "distancing" lynch vote, this one is it), and last person to lynch Redster after it was a foregone conclusion - the excuse for each was "I wasn't on!", which I proved to be false yesterday.

The good news is that there are not 2 mafia members left or they'd have won. The bad news is that if im317 is a serial killer, then the town has already lost either way.

Ok, so if im317 is an SK, and we can assume there is at least one Mafia remaining (probably the GF) then town is screwed. Even if we lynch right today, the lucky survivor kills tomorrow night and its game over. So let's not dwell on that. If im317 is the SK, there is nothing we can do about it, and it's only a theory anyway. Plus if im317 is the vig, he is the only shot we have at winning (or at least drawing) if we mislynch today. What we can say for certain is that one of me, Timmah or Curtis are scum. Given I can rule myself out, its between Timmah and Curtis. Though I wouldn't like to say which one...

I asked you this yesterday, but seriously if you look at the whole game and have to choose whether Timmah or Curtis played more town, and you manage to come up with Curtis being more town, then there is literally nothing I can do to help you here. There seems to be this mystique surrounding Curtis where no one will ever agree to lynch him. Bring up his lynch and 45 people start arguing with you that you are being dumb, including about 20 who aren't even playing the game that just pop in out of nowhere! (okay, slight exaggeration, but not that much...).

If anyone can cite me any examples of Curtis actually doing town things in this game, I'll have brian send you some cookies.

For the record, I am operating solely on the assumption that im317 really is town vig. The more I think about it, the more the evidence suggests he's really serial killer. But, unless the rest of us are ALL 3 town, scum wins if 317 is SK

You are right, with 2 kills, there is no way that you, me and Wikey are all town. Brings me right back to all of my other points wherein you are the most likely person to be mafia.

I'll be home in two hours. The important thing is to not lynch prematurely (317!!). If you two lynch me right now and Wikey is final mafia, Wikey hammers it and wins. And vice versa etc

Actually, this isn't a bad idea. If Wikey hammers and you flip town, then 317 kills Wikey, and as long as Wikey doesn't manage to somehow kill him first, town wins.

I understand where your assumptions come from, but at some point, I'm just going to fall back on what "to assume" does.

Since I need to use my head, please review my thoughts on everyone and tell me where I went wrong.

Hold on, so now in order to buy your townie-ness, your only argument is that "nuh uh, I'd never play that way because I'm too smart!"

One thing that bugs me about Wikey is that he believed I was Town so easily. To me it seemed like he wanted me on his side for the final stretch, and I didn't really offer up much to suggest I was Town so I'm not sure why he believed me For this final day, GodfatherWikey would be playing it the smartest. Either he's Town and is actually trying to figure things out and not rushing into it, or he's Godfather and is pretending to try to figure things out. Timmah is being stupid either as a townie or the Godfather. Timmah if you're town, you're barking up the wrong tree with me and your one track mind against me today is what'll lose the game for Town. If Timmah's Godfather, he's going for the far easier lynch in me for the quicker win. If that's the case, I'm hoping Wikey and 317 realize it I can't tell which is the case. I'm leaning towards lynching Timmah unless I'm very convinced Wikey is Godfather. And...I'd rather see Godfather Wikey win than Godfather Timmah :yay:

Talk about completely contradictory points in your post...

Basically, you just said "well, everything I see indicates that Wikey is more likely to be the Godfather, but I'm leaning towards lynching Timmah"
