So as someone who wasn't around for the Overwatch game and doesn't really want to look for it... is the similarity between that game and this one that people essentially had hit points that deteriorated over time until their eventual death?

I think the items will be helping scum a lot more than more than they help town. They are an easy way for our discussion to get side tracked from scum hunting, and scum is more likely to be able to use the aggressive ones effectively because they at the very least will know who NOT to target with their items. Town is very likely to hit other town members unless they have actual information to go off of. I guess at the very least, if they are in the hands of a town member that means they are not in the hands of scum.

Also, I'm interested to know what the Beam Sword, Metal Box and Party Ball do.

I'd like you to, personally. This set up feels like a bit of a clusterfuck, and we don't really have anything to go on or discuss right now. So I think the more info that town has at it's disposal, the better.

Mittens actually looked like he was trying somewhat yesterday. As much as you can on day 1 at least.
Lamps has yet to make a post that contributes any thoughts, which I kinda get because we basically know nothing right now. But when he's been town in the past, I've found him to be a pretty proactive town player that voices his opinions... definitely not a sheep.

If Helios, Tib or Nick show up today, I'd really like to hear more about the nature of the powers they received last day phase.
Seeing how dangerous Mario's final smash had the potential to be, should we hold off smashing someone this round unless they are willing to give some details about what their final smash is?

Looking at Ariespecially posts and the vaguely possible lamps/zersch connection, I would be OK applying pressure to one of those 2 |
What do you mean by a possible Zersch/Lamps connection? Anything in particular or just a hunch?

Good reasoning right here.
There literally are no leads or whatsoever to talk about, so there was nothing for me to contribute. |
There are no real leads for anyone to talk about right now as far as I'm aware. But some people are still trying. And if you are town, I think you would be just based off how you've played in the past.

Well contrasting the reactions of Aries and Lamps to having 2 votes placed on them, I am feeling like my vote is currently in the right place atm.

I think Aries basically shrugged it off and decided to be constructive whereas you got defensive. Generally scum is more defensive about receiving lynch votes in my experience.
And I dom't think that changing my vote to you makes me looks shady but if you do then feel free to lynch me.

For the people who are focusing on yesterday's lynch, do you feel like there was someone else who should have been lynched instead of Darkus?

As for people saying what they plan on doing with the Final Smash if they are granted it during the day... why have people out what their ability is? As far as I can tell only one person gets one each day? So it's not going to be hard to track who has one, and who it could possibly be that activated theirs. In the Overwatch mafia the character name was publicly announced as having activated their Ultimate ability.
Unless I missed something mentioning that we are slowly building up a Final Smash independent of voting on one each day. |
No passive build up mentioned. Agree with not outing smash abilities. I think everyone just kind of freaked out when they saw how OP Darkus' smash was. |
I don't think people should have to out their entire ablity, but if people want to receive their final smash this early in the game, I don't think it's a bad idea to give a loose idea of what it is (i.e. it is aggressive, defensive, investigative etc).
It could help us potentially catch people in lies, and also determine more effectively who to give it to. For instance, I think that it makes more sense to give people with a defensive or investigative final smash the chance to use it right now since there is a lot less risk to town with a misfire.

Badger, would it be useful for you to be smashed today? |
I don't know that it would be useful, but it also wouldn't be harmful either. It has a pretty low impact compared to the one we saw flip.
