Just want to clarify Moose that you are 100% sure that the 'chaotic' group that you were referring was specifically a Mafia and not potentially something else? There's got to be a cult out there somewhere and it strikes me as really bizarre that there would be both a 'random' mafia and a 'chaotic' mafia because that seems like basically the same thing to me.

I don't understand why people are worrying about quick lynch trains when the lynched person actually ended up being a mafia member (and it looks like their leader, based on his role?). Is there something I am missing here?

Oops looks like I was a little late to that discussion.

So I just want to keep things straight here but if we are listing the information we have about potential factions, we have:

Town: Confirmed dead members are: Tony, Schrauben, Rob, Chris, Alsark, Tricks, Herm. Only confirmed living member is Cherry. Potential confirmation of Merc (according to Buffy and Moose).

Randomizers: Confirmed Mafia by Brian. Dead members include DD, Craig/Zersch.

Stabilizers: Confirmed third party of some kind by Brian. I think it's pretty unlikely that they would be Cult because there were so many of them right off the bat. I'm thinking they could be the Masons? Confirmed members are: Im317, Vern, Korr.

Chaotic: Potential mafia, the info about their existence comes from Moose. Assuming it does exist, is it possible that Ari comes from this faction? It would kinda fit since we don't know anything about it except for what Moose told us, and Ari's role was kept hidden from us.

Children: Not 100% a given that this is a faction, but there are a few players who have the passive that they cannot be visited by Children. I can't imagine more than two mafias so this would have to be a third party? Possibly the cult?

Is there anything I'm missing here?

Yet to be determined but worth noting for future reference as we get more info.

I guess I can see how it would look like I am trying to downplay their existence, but I think I'm just coming across that way because I find the info a little odd (I don't see what that has to do with Angi though?). It just feels strange to me that there would be 'The Stabilizers', 'The Randomizers' which seem to follow a particular pattern in how they've been named, and then there is one named "The Chaotic Mafia". Of course that isn't anything concrete but I also find it a bit odd that it was mentioned in Moose's role description which is a completely unverifiable source.

Regardless, I think it is probably for the best if we assume that there IS a second mafia for now because we're better to be safe than sorry.

I can see it being someone's power (hopefully single use) to target two players in one night + it will be announced they targeted each other even tho they didnt rly. Certainly scum aligned. Tricks and Herm were two of the most acive and influential contributers so makes sense to kill two birds with one stone.

I think this is the most logical explanation for the double kill last night and it got me thinking. If the mafia did have a one time double kill, maybe there was more to their lynch than the fact that they were active contributors? Maybe one or both of them might have been on the right track? I went back and looked at their posts towards the end of yesterday - Tricks didn't do much aside from lynch DD (which is likely part of the reason he was killed, maybe also because he revealed he has a double vote?) but there was this post from Herm stuck out to me:

I think this could be an alright place to start when determining who to lynch today.

Herm also voted to lynch Walk that round, so if Walk was scum she probably would have been feeling some heat? Would that be too obvious though?

It's hard to really know how to respond to that because it feels like a pretty baseless claim. I've been trying pretty hard to contribute and I mean I know that I'm not scum but obviously that's not going to mean very much to you if you are throwing shade at me just based off a hunch.

Fair enough. I think that post just annoyed me a little because you are one of the people I get the strongest town vibes from so it caught me a little offguard.

If there is something concrete against Angi, I think we should go with it. But I'm a little concerned there might be a Hidden Immunity Idol in play because I was passed one on night 2. It was only valid for the next day phase so I didn't see a point in using it at the time so I didn't bring it up, but with a few Stabilizers down for the count I could see them maybe being desperate enough to use it if they have one right now. I think it makes sense to have a backup lynch in case an HII does get played, especially since Angi currently has a vote on Shawn.

##Lynch Teebs

So far the totals are:

Sami: Cherry
Shawn: Angi
Teebs: Cake, Badger
Angi: Buffy, Adoha, Lamps, Moose, Sami

Because there are only 3 people with votes on them to pick from and voting by myself accomplishes nothing in terms of playing around an HII. It would probably actually be counter productive because it would split votes further.

Of those three I think Sami might have set up last round so I'd rather not vote her. Shawn's only vote comes from scum so that leaves Teebs. I don't have a strong opinion on Teebs either way because it's hard to read an inactive player. But even in the best case scenario he's an inactive town we can't count on to vote with us when we need him to.

If you have a better suggestion though I'm all ears.

Alright Cherry I guess that logic checks out better than Cake's does. At the very least you are the one person Brian has stated to be town so that helps your case too.
