You get shuffled, pushed, guided along for some time. You know you were taken outside, and you attempted to count to know how long of a distance you traveled, but it wasn't much help. Suddenly the guards stopped leading you, and took their hands off you. You wanted to take the sack off your head but you were being cautious. Just as you were going to take it off yourself, the sack is ripped from your head and you shield your eyes from the sunlight. You hear a soft hum behind you as you look at a 80 foot fence that you almost sense magic energy from. The fence goes far to your left and right and you can see the outline in the distance.... we're caged in, you think. BANG. Around the fences are several towers higher than the fence even. You imagine this is where King FE stays to keep watch, and you also assume that bang marks the beginning.

Movement: I'm not yet sure HOW I want you all to move. You can either use the graphic and edit in your path in a line (I know its a big graphic but I think it will help being bigger!) You can list me the spaces you want to go such as "A4, then A5, then B6, then B7" or even just say 'left, right, left, up, down' or something. As long as I can be confident where exactly you are moving on the grid. Remember that 1 block is 5 feet. So if you have a 30 foot walking speed, you essentially can move 6 blocks. You MAY walk diagonally.

After looking at the fence behind you, you look forward. You can tell you are in the north-west area of the cage. There is a tree stump directly right next to you on the east side. A few bushes surround you. Further east there seems to be a large rock, and even further yet a dirt path. Peeking your head through the bushes south is seemingly another dirt path. Your current position is C1. What do you do?

** also as a note. “Meta-gaming” is kind of when you as a player (who can see everything obv) makes choices for your character based on you knowing everything. Obviously it’s hard NOT to. And I’m not going to punish anyone for doing so. I understand you want to be successful. But tryyyy your best to make choices from your characters point of view rather than you - as a player - point of view. It’s more fun that way too! **

Nah. Think of it as just like walking five feet diagonally from where you stand kinda thing. I guess you can get around the map faster I guess by doing so? But it’ll still be 5 feet per block. Obviously though you can’t walk through like rocks or cliffs or anything like that. You CAN climb stuff. But that would take movement. And if you encounter anything like that I’d tell you/explain.

Thatidash walks south a few paces. Having the sack over his head then bluntly being revealed to the sun made his eyes hazy and blurry. Still within the confines of the bushes he looks around but only sees the dark green foliage around him. And the light green field past the bushes.

Tharidash is now occupying B3.

You have 20 feet of movement left and 1 action. Do you want to end turn still?
(dont read into this. Just with a perception check things can technically change so just making sure you want to end your turn)

Echo slyly checks his surroundings. He is already in his element, within the shadows of a big tree with bushes surrounding the tree, but he looks through the plant growth and his eyes survey the area. He sees that hes right next to some pond of sorts. The pond is sort of deep, but not incredibly so. It looks fairly normal with no dangers. Looking more south-west, he notices a large tree with no leaves 40 or 50 feet high. Echo occupies space T1. What do you do?

Echo walks around the little pond, taking no mind. He passes the bare tree, staying as far from it as possible, although while walking passed, he does notice, ever so slightly, a little sparkle high in the tree. Making his way directly south of the pond he jumps in the tree. While in the tree he tries to look around from the high ground. All he sees is the leaf-less tree to his west. South another tree, and more south of the leaf-less tree and the regular tree seems to be a dirt road. Echo nestles between branches and attempts to hide. Echo is currently occupying V6. What do you do?

Abby, slightly distraught after being kidnapped, looks around frantically. She was just taking notes? She was observing? Why did they... do this to her? She notices shes in a bush... a filthy dirty bush. To her south she sees a dirt road leading west, and north west she notices a huge tree. Its branches poking out in all directions like huge spiky thorns. It must be 100 feet high, the little gnome girl assumes. Abby is occupying X11. What do you do?

Abby, in utter confusion, heads over to a log. She can only make it to T16 with her little legs. She takes out her book and quill and starts setting up shop. She looks around her and sees a small cliff directly south. Maybe 10 or so feet high. To her east the dirt road she crossed meets a dead end at the humming fence. West are a clump of trees and brush. More importantly though, she looks inside the log shes sitting on, and finds a beautiful Hand Crossbow! (light, range 30-60ft, 1d6 dmg). Wondering what in the heck a weapon is doing inside a log, she casts Mage Armor on herself as a gut instinct tells that she.... very well may be in danger within the confines of this fence.

No more movement!
As an action you cast a level 1 spell
As a bonus action you did a perception check

You received one Hand Crossbow!

Scar looks around and immediately notices he is on some sort of hill. As he looks north through the thick large bush in front of him, he can sort of see that hes higher above ground than the ground further north. The humming fence is east and south of him, so finally looking west he sees a slow declining slope of grass. Scar is occupying W22. What do you do?

Climbing down the little ledge will take double movement in that square. (So 5 extra feet. Meaning you make it to P15) do you want to continue?
