I'm starting to think we have a 3rd party JOAT-type role. It would explain the 1-time silence, and the 1-time poisoning. Not sure what the other choices would be, but it could be tied to the gun I just got last night. All these events seem to be 1-time events, and with the number of people dwindling quickly, I think it makes more sense if they were all coming from the same person.

Sounds like a sucky role actually. 3rd party should have more in their arsenal. I'm thinking that role would be either town or mafia.

I've got to get some work done, but will check back in in a few hours. JC, please don't shoot me, as that won't help town (and I can prove it to you). I would like to know if there is anyone silenced today, or if anyone was poisoned last night. There are other possibilities for im317's kill not going through last night. I know he is holding back on his target, but it may be helpful to figure it out.

I don't see why he is holding back his target. Sounds like a scummy thing to do, so we won't be able to figure out exactly what happened. Seems like it would benefit us to know who he targeted. Or am I missing something?

If you believe im317 is really a PT vig, then his crappy kill choices shouldn't matter. Assuming HIS targets are the ones that are dying. If he is being puppet mastered then that is a different story.

Redster has been pretty worthless this game, but always seems to show up when he has to.

I don't argue that first part, but I call bullshit on the second part. Who said I have to show up? I was under no pressure, as far as I know. No votes, nobody even mentioning my name. Since speaking up I am now getting attention and at least one vote that I saw. So if I wanted to continue lurking, I would have kept my mouth shut. I am speaking up to try to help town since I have the time to actually follow the day thread now.

question for the people asking me who i tried to kill last night. in what way does that info help the town? if my action was redirected to a different person as opposed to being bused from person A to person B then saying who i was trying to kill gives scum new information. giving scum that info could effect who they think is good to keep alive, where as i dont see how that info helps town.

You obviously are leaning towards it being a redirector. Have we seen any other evidence of this role in play?

I was speaking more from the bus driver side of the argument, where knowing the target does give important information. Again I having been following the game the last couple days so I don't know if there is evidence either way.

The knee jerk reaction when a claimed vig is left alive and only town people die is always going to be the same. When the claimed vig doesn't want to share the target, it fuels that suspicion. That is the way I feel about it but fuck you guys play weird so I don't know.

since I believe canuck for now but I would like to hear more about this "coal". I saw coal mentioned in the write up. Weird that it would kill people but he wouldn't be told that by the mod.

i wasn't told it was or was not completed. however Brian told us he was told when he was role blocked, and given him being town he had no reason to lie. i think were talking about different redirector roles, im talking puppet master where they change who i target without knowing my original target.

Why wouldn't they have done this to you sooner? Did you just claim yesterday? If so, that makes sense.

Okay now that is weird. If there was a puppet master surely they would have acted on him sooner. Unless the puppet master is 3P and assumed mafia would try to take im317 out right away? Watcher was still in play during that time though. So that is probably why mafia didn't target im317. Seems like the puppet master is a noob, or there isn't one.

i have weighted the potential effects and i think i should say who i killed because its valuable to the town if there is a bus driver and of little value to the mafia if i was targeted by a puppet master. i tried to kill Redster since he didn't show up day 3 or 4. we have to many low activity players hanging around imo.

Are you serious? That doesn't make sense. I would have no reason to be protected. You wasted a N4 kill attempt on a total lurker?
