I’m supposed to sign for a UPS package tomorrow, though...not sure how that’s going to work out. We had a whole big meeting at work about this. I told my drivers if people refuse to sign then to let them use their own pen and sign one of our info notices rather than signing the DIAD like usual. Unfortunately UPS won’t ever close because we need to keep transporting goods to people who are stuck home so I won’t be staying home

Yea my work has declared no meetings over 6 people and 6 feet apart. Still working for now though.

I am doing a trial work from home to see if our network can support 3000+ people working from home.

I’m guessing if it works we’ll start working from home. Already got approval from my boss to take my monitors home if that happens because working on a laptop blows.

I am not! I work for a natural gas utility.

We had a test. And it did not go well. The presentation didn’t display. Half the people couldn’t figure out how to hear the audio through their computer and when they provided a call in number it created an endless loop of noise because people weren’t muting their phones.

My boss called it a massive failure. People were getting pissed and the reply all chain of people saying the audio wasn’t working has exceeded 60 emails.

Might be going back to the office tomorrow.

CDC has advised anyone from NY, NJ or CT not to travel outside the state. Apparently Trump almost put those three states on lockdown. I'm flying to Nebraska on Saturday so we'll see how that goes.

The Oklahoma governor has required anyone who has been in those states and Louisiana, Washington, California to self quarantine for 14 days.

I was supposed to go back to the office starting on Monday but now it’s TBD. I understand it’s for the best but I’m super sick of working from home.

Unsurprisingly Oklahoma is going up too. It honestly hasn’t felt like a pandemic was going on the last month with traffic, no masks. I try to my mask when I go out but I’m in the minority.
