I loved Devans. Super glad he got the 100k. Loved all the fake idols. But I’m super glad he didn’t win. It would have kind of solidified this as a good season. Chris was a huge WTf winner and I think will make them rethink redemption seasons especially late in the game.

I love Julie and wish she won. She was def my fave

Couple thoughts on Chris:

I do think he played the last three days as well send he could. Got Lauren to screw herself over by giving him the idol. Great move. Got Rick to give him his idol back which secured his spot in four. Was able to get Lauren out who may have challenged him at the end. And then took Rick out with fire.

Of course he shouldn’t have won, but the stars aligned. It was an impossible argument for Gavin and Julie because you can’t shit on Edge of Extinction because three days ago these people thought they would have had a chance to win if they made it back.

I do really want to hear Aubry and David’s defense on why they voted Chris to win. ESPECIALLY Aubry. I can see David because he’s about the experience but
Aubry’s vote was the most surprising.



For those super against Devens. Are you happy with the outcome? I’m happy in terms of a future of survivor and tweaks they’ll make to the show kind of way, but even Devans would have been a much better win than Chris.

Note 2 on Chris:

Had Joe come back instead of Chris, which obviously was the design. I don’t think Joe could have pulled off any of the moves that Chris did. So he does deserve a little credit I suppose.

For wtf finish for Survivor though.

Also the giant heads of Rob and Sandra have me so pumped.

No different than the old fan favorite awards (though I think those were only 25k). I was excited for Rick. Even though I didn’t want him to win for game implications and because I don’t like idol scavenger hunts, he was truly the star of the season and an awesome dude and fun to watch.

Gavin should have won. He had a good TC, IMO.

I think one of the things that killed him was he openly admitted to not really looking for idols.

Also, he had the near impossible task of telling the jury they didn’t deserve to win the game. By discrediting Chris by saying he came back so he doesn’t deserve to win, is telling them if they came back, they wouldn’t have deserved to win.

I agree, I thought he did good considering.

I think Gavin might have even won if he took out Rick via fire. I think that was the icing on Chris’ cake.
