I typically put pants on first. Just because my closet with my pants is next to the bathroom whereas my dresser with my socks is not.
One exception is if I'm wearing jeans. My waist has grown a tad this year so my jeans are a little tighter fitting. Putting on socks after they are on tends to be a little painful for the family jewels. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I take that back. My underwear is in my dresser. I am not sure why I do pants first. I guess since I am mostly barefoot at home I consider socks more as a compliment to shoes then an undergarment like Curt said | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"
