Paul, knowing west was lucky, headed that way with confidence. He was greeted with a room that looked to be the remains of a farmers market. There was a stand that read "Apples 25 cents", and another that read "Oranges 35 cents" and another that... something caught his eye.
There a pie sitting on a small wooden ledge on the far side of the room. It looked so delicious and so unlike the rest of the decor in the room. He rushed over hoping for a treat and possibly a physical advantage in the next challenge. He knew west was lucky and he had been rewarded for his faith! A note beside the pie read, "Congratulations, this pie will give an advantage...". Without reading anymore of the note he grabbed the pie...
Smack! A rock flew out from a trigger underneath the pie and crashed into his helmet smashing it to smithereens. He muttered a curse under his breath and looked at the rest of the note. "... to your competition. You are no longer able to explore the Labyrinth."
Dejected, Paul headed back to the Anteroom. |
