I like big dogs. Have always owned dogs until about the last 5 years, when our black lab (Bo) passed away from old age. That was the 2nd black lab (Sadie) that I've owned, loved them both, they were great dogs. I had a Siberian Husky (Storm) in college, which was only because our college nickname was the Huskies, but he was a great dog non-the-less.

I've always thought German Shepards were cool dogs but have never owned one, maybe someday.

I can say that one of the hardest things I've ever done is take a dog to the vet to be laid to rest. Which I had to do with Bo and Storm. :(
