foreshadowing?

I almost hope so. My reasoning being:

We as a fan base feel too safe about a handful of characters. How many times have we actually feared for a character this season? No one was safe early on [or at least it seemed that way], but it has definitely changed. Killing off a fan favorite in Daryl will bring us back to the days of every scene having us on the edge of our seat. We will not only tune in for the story and character development, we will tune in to see who will survive.
