Hey guys! As some of you may not know, the Sims 4 Create-A-Sim Demo has finally been released to the public! I've been waiting for this forever, and I'm glad I can finally fiddle around with it and see what I can do!

First impressions: Well, I had trouble getting the thing to actually SHOW. I had to go into the options in the actual game folder and change it to windowed mode so I don't face a black screen telling me my resolution size monitor sucks.

Secondly, the game was not slow at all when transitioning from detailed creation, to loading up the different clothes and facial features. It was all very smooth and I had no issue at all! Compared to the Sims 3, it's a lot faster and there's no waiting for clothes to load, (although I DO have a lot of clothes in Sims 3)

Well, if you guys have it downloaded, what do you think? I already have my first Sim made, which I made in my image. Here she is: Posted Image

So, I wanna see YOUR creations! Make yourself, a celebrity, or just go crazy! Let's get creative!

Well, I do know that there are already multiple mods for the DEMO, so i feel like there's great potential that some aspects of the game will be better if anyone is interested in modding.

Seriously, someone made a color wheel mod, which is fucking fantastic!

My thoughts right now about 2 hours after briefly trying:

How the hell do you change eye color without changing the entire face

You just click on an eye when working on the facial details, you can change the color and shape.

I'm not too pleased about a bunch of minor things, like jewelry(I don't really make my Sims wear them), but I'm pretty happy with it so far. We'll have to wait until the game comes out and many patches to see what will be improved.

They all look great! I'm going to try to make something grotesque as well.

One article I've read was that the team who developed The Sims 4 had serious time mismanagement issues. They took too much time on one thing and barely put time in anything else, hence the no toddlers or pools. EA needs to loosen their leash a little bit and give the dev teams some slack. The game would be much better if they were given more time.

They have EMOTIONS now. Thats the improvement/selling point. I haven't heard of any other big improvements. Pretty much everything besides graphics (and maybe how smoothly it runs but I'm not sure I have faith in that) sound like a huge step back. I could almost see the appeal of a stripped down but tighter game. If it wasn't $70 (:

One of the other improvements/ selling points was the improved AI. Apparently, they're SO MUCH SMARTER HURR DURR.

And also the building was "Improved." You can click and drag a whole room and place it somewhere else.

EA needs to fucking die. It has ruined the video game industry enough. They have been doing this for the last two decades.

YO BROS GIVE US YOUR MONEY CAUSE WE WANT YOU TO HAVE THE VERY BEST. Seriously, they might as well charge us for every click of the mouse, they're so greedy.

I'll wait and see what the reviews look like before purchasing it. There's one guy that goes by the name of LGR on youtube who does reviews of everything Sims. He's pretty good when it comes to having an unbiased opinion, and his sarcasm and snide comments makes them more entertaining as well.
