Anyone else watch? Lil Dicky's show
I like it! Its for suuuuuure Atlanta-lite. Definitely feels like Dicky pointed at Atlanta and said I wanna make that, so I like when it does feel like its own thing
If you don't like him or aren't familiar with his music I can see it being kinda hard to get into maybe. The show is 100% his sense of humor from his music, down to his great parents from his interlude tracks. I kinda wish he got his real parents to play them but these two are perfect

S2 finale:
oh shittt, it's been clear that Aly is seeing someone and I've been waiting to see who it was (I thought it would be Elz), and it's JIM CUMMINGS! Director/actor that I really like. He hasn't been in much though, mostly just his own two movies. That was a fun surprise, I wonder if he'll be around in s3

S2 finale:
I loooved that final scene. Great lil twist. And the fact that that's why Gata was crying, because he was about to perform. Wonderful
First few eps were good, but I reallyyyy liked the second half of the season. I'd have to rewatch s1 again but I'd say the back half of s2 was the best stretch of the show so far. Some surprisingly tense moments pulled off really well. Somehow an accidental text to Doja Cat became one of the most stressful moments I've seen on TV in some time. WHAT A SAVE!
Gata stole the season, he's a great actor and I love that they recognized it as the season went on | |
