Who has played it (especially recently) and is it worth it? We've been talking about playing for ages but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Now my friends and coworkers are both talking about grabbing it, so I've got THREE groups wanting to play! Time to finally just snag it
Finally bought this on Steam last week. 50% off for $20 total. It goes on this sale like every single Steam sale. I almost bought it last Saturday to play with coworkers but I said I bet if I wait til tomorrow on the first day of this new Steam sale it'll be on sale. And it was!
Played the tutorial and 100%'d it. It was fun! Exactly what I expected really. Controls and movement feeling maybe the slightest bit on the clunky side for me so far, but I just haven't played a game like this in awhile tbh. I'm sure I'll get used to it quick
Unfortunately I have three groups that I wanna play with, my new coworkers who I haven't played anything with yet, my college boiz, and my FE pals! My coworkers have played a ton, my boiz have had to be convinced to stray away from Fortnite because they're stupid, and I feel us FE'ers have been way overdue to finally start this. So I'm probably gonna be playing a dece amount soon and floating in between groups/playing with whoever's on first that night. It is what it is!
Fun so far though, I see the appeal. Very curious how pvp works and how open or limited the world feels. Hopefully plenty of fun quests and unique islands, I want the game to have staying power. With a season format I'm sure it does
