Man was this one great (I'm going in episode order so it's all I've seen)
This one intrigued me the most based on the quick promo spots I saw because it seemed so out there and I wondered how it'd fit into this universe. Ended up working perfectly. I knew nothing about it so the twists took me by surprise. Loved the reveal of a much less studly looking Plemons in the elevator, but especially loved the reveal that the crew was self aware
There were so many levels to this and it kept going deeper and deeper. First feeling bad for Daly at the very start and then starting to think he's a creep and then loathing him and THEN realizing he's gonna die alone in that chair...which is brutal and I can't say he deserves DEATH for what he did. Which gets into the whole conflict of seeing the copies as real people or not etc etc. It's a lot to digest. And it's always sad to see someone who's bullied turn into a cock themselves because of it, but man was Daly awful. That's a type of character that I haven't seen explored to this degree too much
And you go through a similar range of feelings towards Walton which was cool. And Cristin Milioti was really great, loved the line about him taking away her pussy. Lots of funny bits like that throughout
I also loved how it went from campy/awful Star Trek episodes spoofs into an actual Star Trek level space adventure in the last 20 minutes with real stakes. The way it flipped it on its head was perfect
