With Brian gone and the bridge behind them crumbling, Curtis and the remaining five critters joined Black Friday towards the edge of the village.

"Hey who are you." KC asked the cloaked man.

Black Friday took a step towards the group, allowing torch light to illuminate his face...

"Chris?!" Asked a surprised Curtis.

"Oh hooray." Nofo said sarcastically.

Chris flashed a wide smile. "BLACK FRIDAY IN THE HOUSE BITCHES!"

"General Igor turned you into an animal too??" asked Bryce.

"Huh? No....." Chris stated as he stared back at them with a beaked face. "Anyway. I'M B.B.F. MOTHERFUCKERS! BIG BLACK FRIDAY! From the waist down."

"The troll guarding the bridge." Rose sighed. "We should've known."

"Damn straight. If you wanna enter the community behind me, you gotta feed the troll." Chris began, eyeing up his five targets. "Bryce, let's start with you. You and I are gonna play a little game."

"Oh!!" Bryce shrieked out. "Is it multiplayer? On sale? Co-op? I don't want another one that involves zombies or killing, though. Does it--"

"Jesus, forget it." said Chris as he eyed the other four up and down. "Moving on..."

He walked back and forth before stopping in front of Igor.

"Sup homie? Feminists, amirite?" he said to the buck.

"HAHA HOLY SHIT dude i was just gonna say that." Igor yelled eagerly.

Chris shook his head in disappointment. "Maybe not my best target." He then turned to Rose.

"Hey Rose, did you hear that-"

Rose was curled up in a ball in the middle of one of her deep, sickly sleeps.

"MOTHER FUCKER." Chris yelled as he stomped his feet. "What's with these fuckers?"

"Ahhh, Nofo." he started. "Sup bitch. I think women should-"

"LISTEN HERE YOU CIS WHITE ASSHOLE" Nofo began to scream.

"Fuck. Forget it, I ain't dealing with that shit." Chris said.

All that remained was KC, Chris' last potential troll victim. Chris was determined. He stepped up to the wolf and started his usual spiel.

"Did you know the Jews were behind 9/11?"

"Yeah." replied KC.

"Jesus. Did I find the least trollable five people ever?" Chris pondered out loud. "Just leave me alone, go have fun in your shitty village."

Chris "Black Friday" Knepley stood to the side and let the five pass with Curtis.



The group continued down a small trail and arrived at the gate to the village. They banged on the double wooden doors and watched as they swung open slowly.

About a dozen figures stepped through the gate and slowly approached the travelers. Very slowly.

They were sloths. Soon, the group was surrounded on all sides by a pack of them.

"Hey." one of the sloths spoke up. "I'm Spin."

"Hey." an identical sloth spoke up. "I'm Ahoda."

"I'm Sock."

"I'm Vlady."

"I'm Farlig."

"I'm Primate."

"I'm Ben."

"I'm Timmah."

"I'm Mittens."

"I'm TiB."

"I'm-"

"OKAY! We get it." Curtis yelled.

"Welcome to our village." Spin said.



"That General Igor schmuck pillaged our place about a month back." Ahoda began. "He made us drink some shit and turned us all into sloths. It takes me 45 days to for one jerk off session now!"

"We're trying to find the witch to turn us back human." Rose said. "You guys know the land, do you know where she lives?"

"Oh yeah she's right up there." Ben said as he slowly raised his arm upwards.

The group followed his finger up...and up.....and up. A small shack could be seen atop a very high, ninety-degree rock face. The sheer cliff was covered in vines and looked near impossible to climb.

"That's the only way up." said Mittens. "We've tried to climb up to the witch but we're way too slow, Darkus Black is still there somewhere. He's been stuck on it for about 20 days."

"Good." said KC.

"This is it." said Curtis "We gotta get up there. We gotta reach the witch."


ELIMINATION QUEST




- Each of you must attempt to climb up the cliff face. You will submit a list of maneuvers to me. Each of you will start 15 feet high. Your list will be numbered 1-30. Your possible actions are:

- "Move". This will move you up one foot. The more you move ahead, the safer you are.

- "Hold". If you are attacked, you will fall backwards to your last hold spot.

- "Attack [Name]". Attacking someone will make them lose their grip and send them further downwards.

- Your list will be taken in order from one to thirty. Whoever advances the least after all five lists are factored in will be eliminated.

- You have until 7pm. You may change your lists up until then. Post any questions you have below.

Bryce and Nofo went down the line and hugged each GLBer goodbye...one...by one....by one. There were dozens of them, each of them a slow moving sloth. It took so long that the two hardly noticed their coins being pillaged by the other three. [-3 COINS GIVEN TO ALL WHO DIDN'T PICK THIS]

B. Ask Vlady what he thinks of the witch
Rose made the terrible mistake of asking Vlady what he thought of the witch. Vlady challenged her usage of the word "witch" over the more appropriate "mage" and attempted to get her to change her mind for 45 straight minutes. [NO EFFECT]

C. Flip off Ahoda

The five stood at the base of the cliff face and looked straight up. It was a sheer rock wall, about 90 degrees from the ground and roughly seventy feet high. Vines cascaded down from the top, the only thing making the difficult climb possible. At the very top, the top of a small hut could just barely be seen as dark smoke billowed from the chimney. The Witch.

The five looked at one another and nodded silently. It was time to get moving.

The climb started easily enough. The vines were more frequent towards the base of the cliff, allowing the group to get a safe head start.

KC reached his paw upwards and grasped onto something cold and loose. He tilted his head up - he was clutching onto the rib cage of Darkus Black, who dangled lifelessly in place by a rope.

"The GLBers told us he was still climbing. Looks like he didn't make it..." said Bryce.

"Good." KC said coldly as he let go and continued onward. He left Darkus' corpse to sway gently in the wind.

The higher the group got, the harsher the wind got. It seemed to rush in from both sides, causing them to stop climbing every so often in order to hold themselves in place.

This wasn't their only obstacle. After many months of traveling together, tensions had melted and things were about to reach a boiling point.

Bryce was climbing just beneath Rose when suddenly a stone came loose under her hind leg. The small stone fell downwards and bounced off of Bryce's head, causing him to nearly lose his balance.

"YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!! >:(" Bryce screamed up to her.

"It was an accident probably." Rose responded.

Bryce, without hesitation, removed the rusted fork from his pocket and jammed it into Rose's back leg. Rose shrieked in pain as Bryce wedge the fork in deeper.

"HEY!" Rose screamed out as her blood dripped down onto Bryce below.

Rose found a small groove in the cliff-face to wedge her back into, removed the slingshot from her bag, and let an acorn fly towards Bryce.

"Play nice." she said as the acorn struck Bryce in his left eye.

"DANGIT!" Bryce screamed out while covering his eye with his wing.

Then, all out war.

Bryce jumped upwards, grabbing onto Rose's back two legs in an attempt to wedge her loose. She held onto the rock face above her with two hands. Bryce's weight alone wouldn't be enough to knock her loose.

Nofo and KC ignored the rest and continued climbing. They were about halfway up the cliff and climbing side by side when they finally decided to acknowledge each other.

"Hey." said KC.

"Fuck you." said Nofo.

The two lunged at each other, each one getting a dirty hit in and nearly sending the other toppling down.

Down below them, Bryce threw all his weight into trying to pull Rose down. Rose kicked wildly, attempting to shake Bryce loose to try to send him falling down instead.

Igor clung onto the wall beside the two, his four hooves awkwardly and barely holding him in place.

He looked back and forth between Rose and Bryce as each one called out for aid. Igor, sensing both were about to fall, knew what he had to do.

The buck lunged sideways, grabbing onto Rose's back leg while Bryce continued yanking down on the other one. Rose's eyes widened as Igor's weight threatened to tear her from the cliff entirely...

Igor was too heavy for his own good. His front two hooves gripped onto Rose's back leg, but the rest of him dangled freely in the air below her. He felt his grip quickly loosen...

KC and Nofo continued taking shots at one another above the rest. Either felt like they could fall at a moment's notice...

Bryce clutched his wounded eye with one wing while holding onto Rose's back leg with the other. With one wing occupied, his other began to flip...

Without warning, one critter couldn't hold on any longer. They screamed as they plummeted through open air, scraping and bouncing off of the sharp rock face all the way down.

A body landed with a heavy thud in the ground below. The body of...













































Rose.

Her small raccoon frame was planted firmly in the dirt. Blood pooled beneath her and her bones were mangled beyond belief.

But she was alive. She looked upwards and could just barely make out the four silhouettes of her pals far up the cliff. She reached her bloody and broken, grubby raccoon hand outwards towards them....when one of them also fell loose. Rose stared upwards as the figure plummeted down the cliff hard and fast. It grew larger and larger, allowing her to finally realize who it was...




































































Darkus Black.

Rose had knocked his corpse loose as she flew by him. What was left of his skeleton had shattered in the fall, causing shards of bone to pierce Rose in several places and pin her deeper into the earth. The rest of Darkus' bones shattered on impact.

Rose's shifty hand fell limp to her side. She sighed one final breath of cold air as the life drained out of her.
