Just released on Netflix the other day. When I saw this trailer I thought it was like...a funny or die sketch, didn't think they were actually making a show out of it
I just finished, it's great. I love true crime docs and this nailed it as a parody of them. The best segments by far are when they dig deeper into each suspect, each character is such a hilariously perfect stereotype. It's a quick watch too
Because it wasn't exactly straight up answered? I had a feeling they were gonna do that, so many of these popular true crime docs end without a clear answer on who did it and just leave you guessing, it's frustrating
I did like how it started to turn more serious in the last few episodes. Some parts were actually kinda sad
Out of all the characters and stereotypes, Alex Tromboli is played to absolute perfection. He doesn't overdo it with cliches, he's just such a realistic high school snot who wants to be cool. Every time they replayed him saying "100%." I laughed
Shout-out to the blonde bro for giving the most authentic/funniest interviews of all the minor characters
"Nah man Christa wouldn't draw a bunch of dicks..........vaginas, maybe, but nah not a bunch of dicks"
That and this one from Alex Trimboli are two of my favorite interviews:
"Honestly I think she's a little annoying. She's always like omg I got like 300 signatures for climate change. And I'm like okay I got a handjob from Sara Pearson but you don't see me bragging about it."
