Best episode of the season for me I think?? I think I liked the...2nd one maybe but everything here worked for me more or less
- Littlefinger/Sansa scene was real good, I liked seeing aggressive Sansa and defensive/worried Littlefinger
- I don't have the Kingsmoot in the book to compare it to, but I at least liked Yara and Theon scrambling away to the ships during the voice over
- THE JORAH SCENE. Ugh. This was actually the most I've liked Dany in a long while, and the most emotion I've felt from a Dany related scene...ever? Her knowing Jorah was dying and that it was basically her fault for banishing him. I was really worried that would be it, but then my favorite scene came where she ordered him to heal himself. I don't see that happening but I really hope it does, Jorah might be my favorite character but I've never seen anything other than a tragic ending for him :(
- Arya at Braavos was still boring. I liked the play tho, especially the sad portrayal of Ned
- Liked seeing Varys somewhat on the defense like Littlefinger with the Priestess calling back to his mutilation. We don't know anything about the voice or what it said to him do we?
- Tormund's look towards Brienne
- The Hodor scene ofc. Fun that Jack Bender got the cool time travel effecting shit episode. That kinda has huge implications. Bran could go back and end up causing a lot of stuff to have happened potentially?? I'm sure they do more than just this Hodor moment. The entire Hodor thing was vry tragic, I'm upset about it
Felt like an important episode overall. The show didn't drag its feet like it's been doing this/last several seasons, it seems like a lot of plot lines and characters are coming into their own (all Stark kids) or being pushed in the right direction to fulfill whatever their ultimate goal will be

oh and the Children of the Forest shit still is pretty awful for me overall. I cannot stand the way they're designed. Everything about them feels and looks straight out of a Doctor Who or Star Trek episode, it's so bad
Bran causing all of this chaos because he was a curious idiot was also meh
And the Children of the Forest creating the White Walkers was incredibly lame. I'm not sure I ever wanted the origin of the White Walkers to be explained, but I definitely did not want it to be that. That was underwhelming
