Erin
Played by: Zersch
Game: ATTWS IV: Black Creek
Alignment: Mafia
Role: Ninja
Death: Killed on Day 9
Description: Erin is an aspiring novelist and lab technician who moonlights as a ghost hunter. She immediately became stricken with the case of the Wendigo Express from the moment she found out about it. The more Erin thought about it, the more she became convinced that evil spirits were behind the massacre, rather than that mysterious missing passenger.
When she was recruited for this heinous plan by longtime friend Mr. Curter, she couldn't say no. She always knew Curter as such a gentle, softspoken man that the passion and anger he was showing for this meant something to her. She didn't know what quite what yet, but she felt oddly compelled to follow him. Although initially she didn't buy a word of his ridiculous, farfetched story about some small tyke masterminding the entire train massacre...doubts slowly started creeping in. But whatever the case may be, she still was dubious enough to bring her expensive ghost-hunting equipment along to investigate.

The shoppers all burst out in a round of applause to celebrate Quentin's passing. One by one, they all ran into the nearby party store to celebrate.
Gabriel and Hannah threw confetti in the air, Anatole and Garrett awkwardly blew party horns at each other, Saitei stared at the noisemaker in her hand in utter confusion. Even Judge Reardon cracked a slight smile while Sally slipped a party hat on his head.
There were two shoppers not in the celebratory mood, however. Billy and Erin wretched miserably over the side of the balcony, as their vomit cascaded down into the creek below.
In the end, Billy shook it off and walked back to the group.
"figures..." he shrugged.
Erin, however, was not so lucky. Her vomit turned from yellow to a bright red. Her eyes soon rolled back as she fell backwards to the floor.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Erin trudged through the snow towards the large pile of metal in the near distance. With her ghosthunting equipment in tow, she was ready to solve some mysteries. This mystery happened to be, by far, the biggest one she had ever encountered.
She continued her march, as the pile of metal soon came into focus, revealing a train. The train appeared to have been all curled up all over itself, some of the rear cars being completely upside-down. On the side, just above the surface of the snow, she could make out the words "WENDIGO EXPRESS".
Erin made her way inside and began to unpack her equipment. The first thing she noticed was the smell. The horrid, horrid smell. She had been around a lot of death in her time, but this was unlike anything she'd ever seen. No matter where you turned, there were bloodsoaked bodies. Many seemed to have been mercilessly murdered; the ones with gunshot wounds almost seemed to be the lucky ones.
Erin closed her eyes tight and focused, as her machine oscillated back and forth.
Suddenly, she seemed to sense something. She immediately turned to the left, towards the rear of the train.
As she made her way through the twisted cars, climbing over corpses, she sensed spirits all around her. On her way she heard whispers from everything from a soulful old black man, a hyperactive infomercial pitchman, a Jamaican weed dealer, and even a pile of poo. But none of this interested her much. At least not compared to what she sensed emanating from the engine room.
She gingerly cracked open the door to the engine room and laid eyes on the carnage inside. There were two detectives lying on the floor staring at each other, an old woman with a shot through her heart, and an eternally smiling clown. She nodded and placed her equipment down. Surely this is where she'd find her answers. She heard all the rumors about the missing passenger, but she never paid much mind to it. It had to be evil spirits that were responsible. It had to be.
Just as she closed her eyes, however, she heard the door close behind her. Her head snapped around to see a figure standing in the doorway.
"You?!" she asked incredulously.
"Me." they answered simply.
"You...you followed me all this way? Why?"
"Simple. You want answers, don't you? Well I've got them for you."
With that, the figure let out a whistle and in came a man wearing a bowtie.
"namez brock. james brock." he mumbled.
"You're the missing passenger aren't you? The one they're all looking for? You didn't actually...?"
"ya i did lol. i killd them all." he stated.
"...but how?"
"i dno lol. triangle of trust n shit or wutever.."
The figure next to Brock spoke up once more.
"Erin. You have your answers now. Now, I don't want any trouble here. But Brock and his cousin would very much like to keep what happened here, in this train, a secret. Can you help us with that?"
Erin hesitated. She couldn't believe the thoughts that were running through her head. She certainly couldn't believe what was coming out of this person's mouth, someone she'd known for so long as such a sweet, gentle person. But something in her head just...it just felt right. She sighed and spoke up.
"Spirits be good...I'm in."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Erin's head smacked into the tile with a crack as she continued to convulse. Blood and vomit continued to flow from her mouth as she started to choke on it.
The shoppers all stood around and watched, but no one cared to help. Erin's convulsions gradually came to a stop and she laid still.

Garrett
Played by: Paco
Game: ATTWS IV: Black Creek
Alignment: Town
Role: Nurse
Death: Killed on Day 11
Description: Garrett is a comic book nerd. He tends to offer his unwavering opinions far too often and at the wrong times. When he heard about this whole investigation business, he had no choice but to join in. He would be just like Batman! Golden Age Batman, mind you. Not this piddly shit that DC has been peddling out lately.

"what name FRANK mean??" Saitei asked as the cheering and ass slapping over Frank's demise subsided.
The shoppers all looked around in a panic...but nothing seemed to be amiss.
That is, until Garrett started to clutch at his stomach.
"BY ODIN'S BEARD!" he blurted out as a stream of blood shot forth from his mouth.
------------------------------
"WHAT?!" Garrett yelled as he jumped from his chair. "Mitchell? Over ME?!"
"I'm sorry Garrett." his boss began "Mitchell's just the better fit for manager right now. Your time will come eventually."
"This is nonsense. I won't be defeated so easily!" Garrett promised as he wiggled his way out from the back room.
It was a quiet day at Limited Edition Comics. Garrett angrily stomped his way across the floor and sat behind the register.
"What's the matter piggy!" Mitchell taunted as he leaned back in his chair. "You didn't honestly think YOU would get the promotion over me!"
Garrett adjusted his glasses and made his way over to Mitchell. "What do you know about this store?! About these glorious pieces of art.." Garrett said as he ran his fingers over the comic book pages around him. "You know NOTHING!"
"Wow.." Mitchell began. "You're angrier than Two-Face when Lois Lane committed suicide!"
Garrett facepalmed, hard.
"It was Rachel Dawes, you nitwit, and she didn't commit suicide."
"BLAH BLAH BLAH, I'm a fat nerd!" Mitchell mocked. His two friends were beside him and laughed as they exchanged high fives.
That's when Mitchell snagged a comic from Garrett's private collection that he carried around in his briefcase.
"HEY! Give it back you fiend!" yelled Garret.
Mitchell threw the comic back and forth to his friends, causing Garrett to jump upwards to attempt to swat it down. "That's my X-Men Unleashed!! It's limited edition, hand signed! UNHAND IT!"
"What are you gonna do about it four eyes!"
As Mitchell threw the comic across the floor room, it tipped off of his friend's hand and fell downwards to the ground.
Life now moved in slow motion for Garrett. He watched as his favorite comic plummeted to the ground, ever so slowly. The frail comic landed corner first onto the ground, crinkling the edge and tearing the corner off of the cover.
Mitchell and his friends laughed and moved on to something else. Garrett, however, was devastated. He dropped to his knees and cradled the pages in his arms delicately.
"NOOOOOO!!!!" he cried with his fists raised into the air.
------------------------------
Garrett continued to uncontrollably projectile vomit blood onto everything and everyone in the vicinity.
"h-help! HELP!!!" he cried desperately, as all of the shoppers backed away carefully.
Even Garrett knew it was hopeless. With dear ol' Paddy dead, it seemed there was nothing to be done. He tensed up and collapsed to the floor.
Billy ran over and placed his hand on Garrett's left shoulder, as Sally grabbed Garrett's head to check if he was still breathing.
Suddenly, Garrett's eyes shot open once more.
"This is...just like...Captain America's death scene..." he smiled.
"This is...all I ever wanted."
A single tear ran down his cheek as his eyes shut for the final time.
Garrett, TOWN Nurse, has been killed.
If/when the doctor dies, you will take over as Town Doctor.
