Real happy with a ton of these. I was pleasantly surprised with some of my favorite shows this year getting a lot of noms
Orange is the New Black for best Comedy. Five actresses getting nominated from it including Crazy Eyes. Three of them are under Guest Actress which makes no sense at all but whatever. A lot of the categorization this year makes zero sense and is clearly just to better their chances of getting nominate
FARGO got tons of nominations. I'm so happy about that. Freeman's nominated for best actor in a miniseries for Fargo and best supporting actor in a miniseries for Sherlock. It's him against Cumberbatch for best actor. Thornton, Hanks, Tolman all nominated too, and the show was nominated for best miniseries/movie. Again it makes no sense for that to be considered miniseries/movie when True Detective is under drama
I dunno why Johnson wasn't nominated for BB's Ozymandias over Felina, but I dunno if anyone will beat episode four of True Detective anyway. If GoT season four finale beats out Vince Gilligan for writing then that would be some boolshit
FREDDIE from House of Cards nominated for best guest actor! That's great
I'm sad that it's Cranston vs. McConaughey for lead actor. I was hoping McConaughey would get actor in a miniseries so they could both win :( . I hope Cranston and Paul win over McConaughey and Dinklage tbh
I think for the first time in awhile, I watch all six of the best drama series noms. All are great. Rooting for Breaking Bad then True Detective

I'm pretty surprised Survivor wasn't nominated considering these past two seasons are so highly regarded
No idea how AHS got so many nominations

FI's parrot has become the parroted |
|
I dunno why Johnson wasn't nominated for BB's Ozymandias over Felina |
|
And how did Ozymandias not get a directing nomination? Not that Gilligan did a bad job with Felina, but Ozymandias was such a PERFECT STORM of an episode. Looking at the list I think Boardwalk Empire most deserves it tbqh! |
|
Ozymandias should win writing, but not nominated for directing? I would've thought that episode's directing was better than Felina but oh well! |

The way they shot Walt as a ghost-like figure in Felina was so well done

I get chills every time I watch the Ozymandias scene in the White house. Probably the best-directed scene (and best scene period) behind maybe crawl space |
I'd add the "Run." scene too. The way it was shot was perfect. And One Minute
I'm not at all surprised we hijacked this thread with straight BB talk. I wanna do a rewatch so bad now
