..the TV series? First time I'm hearing about this!

The Coen brothers' upcoming Fargo TV show is based on their eponymous 1996 film, but contains new storylines and characters. In early March, a flurry of teasers dusted the internet, so we had put them all in one place for you. Now we've updated the collection with the brand new longer-form trailers. Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Allison Tolman, Bob Odenkirk and Oliver Platt star.
Fargo premieres on FX on April 15 at 9 p.m.
I'll probably check this out. Freeman doing a Minnesota accent is funny enough for me
Only saw bits and pieces but it seemed pretty good. Very odd tone, similar to the movie. Freeman was great. Could've used some more ODENKIRK tho!
I really liked the "here be dragons" scene at the end
I think I'll keep watching this. Is this gonna have a full season or is it just a mini-series?
10 episode mini-series "event" type thing I think. I dunno if they plan on continuing or not
I thought it was great. It was packed with little awkward or dark moments that made me laugh. The characters are super quirky and came to life pretty quickly. I saw the use of atmosphere compared to Breaking Bad's Albuquerque and I can see why
Shit went down in the last thirty minutes. I hope they keep that pace up over the rest of the season
I loved ice scraper/sequel reveal. It reminded me of the Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction briefcase theory a bit
The reason why I liked this one so much was because of the Lorne and Gus scenes. The arrest was hilarious. And I loved Lorne's "You're making a mistake" PROPHECY line and the green riddle. The two bosses are so incompetent, but I still love how confident Lorne was that he'd get out of there
Any scene with Lorne and the blackmailer is hilarious too. I loved their dialogue over the phone when he was in the pet store
Lester being able to escape because the guy is deaf was funny. I thought at first he just didn't hear because of the drill, then I realized (: . The three in the jail cell next week is gonna be good
I'm scared for GUS now that he's crossed him. Revealing that he knew his real name was NOT smart!
lol same. I got real nervous for Gus towards the end. I think him saying his real name is gonna come back to haunt him. He's one of my favorites so I'd be saddened if he died
DAMN! This was definitely on par with the premiere. They racked up the body count big time. That plus the additional run time made me question if it was the finale or not. I forgot if it was 6, 8, or 10 episodes
IS MOLLY DEAD? That would be crazy. She's a good character but I kinda hope she is dead tbh, it would just be totally unexpected and unconventional. Plus it makes Gus even more tragic (a little Prez slip, huh Cart!)
The set up and death of the personal trainer was so good. I felt bad for him in the end. He was probably the funniest character on the show tbh. His death scene and all the snow storm parts were so well shot
So many comedic secondary characters died. The trainer, Numbers and Wrench (if that's who Molly shot?), and Stavros' son. Plus Stavros' bodyguard and possibly Molly. ALL DEAD! Pretty crazy
Then Lester's whole escape and framing his brother. I thought he was gonna have a change of heart when he saw the picture of the son...nope (: . Gun in the backpack! He's so fucked up. Then at the end I thought he looked guilty for it all, then we got the smile. What a great episode
