SO! Quentin Tarantino's next film is called The Hateful Eight. It's a western so it's probably a play on The Magnificent Seven. Cool title

BUT NOW!

http://www.deadline.com/2014/01/quentin-tarantino-hateful-eight-leak-novel/

He gave the first draft to only six different people and one of them leaked it immediately. He's scraping it (turning it into a book?) and making an entirely new movie

That sucks (: . Sounded cool from what I heard of it, and another western by Tarantino would be great

Tbh his next movie should be a Tarantino-eque revenge flick about Tarantino himself hunting down the six people who leaked his script, with Madsen/Roth/Dern playing themselves (:

I was expecting a much grander score by him but I also thought it'd be a much grander movie overall, Spaghetti Western style like you said. I think his score fit the mood pretty perfectly, anything that really stood out might've been distracting

They also used unused tracks from the original The Thing which is real cool. That's one of my favorite horror movies

I really liked the score when they were outside setting up the posts to the outhouse and the music keeps ramping up more and more until it suddenly cuts to the cabin. Other than that I didn't notice it much

That was The Thing score
