Anyone here seen this or plan to? I've been hearing lots of good stuff about it lately so I checked it out today. Ended up watching the whole season straight through (: . It's basically a mini-series that airs on Sundance. Elisabeth Moss and Faramir from LOTR star in it. There's just seven episodes and it's only intended for one season

It's about a pregnant 12 year old who goes missing. Very much like Broadchurch/The Killing and a bit like that other Sundance show The Returned. Anyone who liked any of those shows would probably like this

It was reallyyy good. Takes place in New Zealand so the landscape throughout the show is beautiful. Elisabeth Moss is so good in it. Probably better here than she is as Peggy because she has more to do here

GOOD SHOW. Very quick and on Netflix. It's worth watching for sure

And yeah I remember being confused by the relationships at the start too. It gets more clear

Yeah the setting is really similar to The Returned. Broadchurch is another gr8 show with a slightly similar setting too

I remember Elisabeth Moss killing it that episode. The bar scene I think. She was so terrific

This show is what made me want her to be cast in True Detective season two

Yeah that was great. Definitely a lot different way of handling it than Peggy would've done (:

My memory is a little bit foggy, but I think she goes outside of the bar and starts screaming/crying afterwards. I was referring to that more than her bar takedown. She's consistently great throughout it all tbh

HMM

I loved season 1, it was nearly perfect. I dunno how they'd do a second season justice really but I'm curious. I just hope they really nail it

Lots of shows are doing this lately, like Broadchurch. I'm always torn because on one hand a second season is almost never really warranted, but on the other hand the characters/writing/world is so great so I'd love to see the shows continue. Bloodline too
