This is the new Netflix original. I love what Netflix is doing. House of Cards was so great, and Arrested Development's revival was great. Hemlock Grove was a miss but I like that they tried out horror. I think those are the only three exclusive shows until this one.

ANYWAY, I heard this was great. It's about a newly engaged woman who ends up having to serve 15 months in prison because of something she got caught up in ten years ago. Seems to delve pretty deep into the prison system.

I watched episode one just now and liked it a good amount. All of the prisoners feel very real,, I liked the characters. I read that it takes about four episodes for the show to really hit its stride so I'm looking forward to that. I'll keep watching

All the episodes were available at once on Netflix just like the rest of their originals. It's from the creator of Weeds and you can tell. Has the same vibe as very early Weeds, which I loved. You guys should watch!

It's a fantastic show. I watched it all over the last weekend and I loved it. I only watched Hemlock Grove before this but I think Netflix definitely can thrive with original content.

What'd you think of Hemlock Grove? I didn't think it was very good but for some reason I watched it all. I think I was just hoping that it would get better

Yeah the acting was atrocious

House of Cards was so great. I'm glad it got Emmy noms. Can't wait for a second season of that

Episode two was also good. The ending was such a Weeds ending

haha Jason Biggs is pretty solid on the show. He does a fairly good job

I watched through episode five last night. I'm liking it more and more. Every male character is such a dick. Pornstache is great. It took me a few to realize that he's played by NICK from The Wire. He's good in this

I like how each episode focuses on a different prisoner and starts to show you how they ended up in there. All the characters are pretty good

Damn you binged the hell out of it

Healey (however you spell it) was my favorite. I'm sad to see him turning into a dick now :(

Just watched 10 and 11. Best ones so far. Pornstache hanging cornrows girl was good. Pretty sad

The stuff with Crazy Eyes has been great. First the part when she helped Piper back to her room after she fell, then she asked why people call her Crazy Eyes. I felt genuinely bad for such a strange character. Then the part where she listened to Larry's radio show and heard what Piper said about her. What a great actress. The part with Piper's roommate was good too

I liked Piper's speech to the wheelchair bound girl. And her phone call with Larry, when Larry tells her that Alex named her. That was bound to happen. If Larry had just told her in the first place, none of this would've happened

Two episodes left. Excited to see how it ends

Trish/Cornrow girl never had a role before this show, which blew me away cause she was pretty excellent. Crazy Eyes has never been more than an extra either. I still can't get over that freakin Patti Mayonnaise is in prison with them.

The best part is that most of those characters appear to be extremely minor at the start. Like I figured towards the beginning that they would sit in the back and do nothing all season and just be flat characters. Instead, they all get called on for their emotional moments later on, and each one nails it and sells their scene
