I mean Brett Gelman is the real worst. He is way too good at playing that type of character. I'm glad he wasn't absolutely detestable in Stranger Things for once

Ep 5: God Olivia Colman is....the worst. She's always great, this is a fun character for her. She plays it perfectly

Ep 6: The pencil eraser/people make mistakes line was so endearing
Surprisingly dark turn towards the end. But then a nice ending with the bank manager. Looking forward to s2, I hear it gets great and Andrew Scott is always good. Really solid s1 though

S2 premiere
Loved it. Feels like they knew what worked in s1 and really cranked it up here. The snappy editing works perfectly
Love the holy music they kept playing, hope that sticks around. I like it better than s1’s music cues

Loved this one. The broken award, her running around town for a replacement, Claire in general, the great Carrie period joke, and the end with the priest seeing her break the fourth wall. Fun stuff

s2 finale
|
Man I loved it. When I think of a perfect season of television I think s2 of this will always come to mind. Every line in this episode felt so significant and they didnt waste a second. The reveal that the statue was her mother, the miscarriage reveal, the Martin breakup, the priest speech, and especially the bus stop scene. All great
Chemistry between PWB and Andrew Scott was wild, they were both perfect. She is stupidly talented, excited to watch anything she does going forward
Very glad I finally watched it. It's clear to see why it's regarded as one of the best modern shows. Well deserved. Sad there wont be more
