As you and your party bicker over whether or not to enter the dragons cave and confront the beast, your choice is made for you. The ground beneath you quakes, knocking several of your group members off their feet. You peer ahead through the icy wind as a towering beast slowly steps forth through the mouth of the cave.

A dragon. Blue in color and about forty feet in height, twice that in length. Its wingspan is impressive as it unfurls them before you and growls from its belly, huffing blue smoke from its nostrils.

The dragon speaks. Its deep voice echoes throughout the mountain range as it explains to you that you are too late. That Akmong Sus has already paid his sum of gold and is on his way to Brinebourne at that very moment.

"HE TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE GOLD AND PLENTY OF IT." Boghat says to you in his low rumble. "HE PAID ME EXTRA TO FLAY THE SKIN FROM YOUR FLESH IN RETURN FOR THE GOLD THAT YOU CARRY."

Your party brandishes their weapons and ready themselves.

"I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD HAVE DONE SO FOR FREE"

Boghat roars a plume of blue fire upwards into the air. He arcs his head back downwards, faces you, and digs his claws into the ice with each step he takes towards you.

The twenty one of you grit your teeth and prepare for the fight of your lives. One that you may not all walk away from...

For clarity, just like being poisoned, the spell says A main quest, not every main quest or side quest or bonus quest. That's why you still have to submit, only one will be overridden

As the dragon marched towards our heroes, each trio grouped up with one another and readied their attacks.

The Assblasters were feeling...mostly lucky. Greaseface cast Slow and helped to halt Boghat's progress as it approached them, allowing Ahron to slide beneath it and slice its underbelly. Malus decided they had done their party and plane shifted The Assblasters out of there. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side, and the trio temporarily shifted into a dangerous plane that did them no good. When they shifted back, the three ran for cover towards the mouth of the cave.

The Pack watched The Assblasters have moderate success and decided to mostly follow suit. When Cyrillus cast Haste on Randall, he scrambled beneath Boghat and cut straight up underneath it with Celine. Unfortunately for Rara, she shifted into the same plane as Malus and the three left a bit of gold behind in the process.

As Boghat lunged towards her, Rok slowed the dragon in its tracks and managed to duck out of the way just in time. Khanarak used the opportunity to slice across its jugular, barely piercing its thick scales. It was a well placed acid arrow from Ordella that really did the trick. Ordella conjured the magical arrow and sent it streaking across the ground. The arrow found its way straight into the jugular wound that Khanarak caused, allowing the acid to begin pouring down Boghat's throat.

Hell's Belles had a tumultuous day, but they were committed to the cause. Lavina flew upwards above the icy battlefield and cast Haste on their party members below. Feeling confident from their newfound speed, Canassa galloped behind Boghat and attempted to pin its tail into the ice, but a tail whip from the dragon sent her skittering across the ice with brutal force. Faerora, nearly on her last legs, placed a hand on the distracted Boghat and used her Vampiric Touch to drain it of some of its life, rejuvenating the trio.

Ying Yang Yang charged forward. Most of them. Sandor stayed behind and cast Suggest on the beast, asking it to leave them be and let them leave in peace. While Boghat was temporarily confused, it allowed Murder Bunny to swing his mace upwards into Boghat's jugular, plunging Ordella's acid arrow in even deeper. Calius watched the damage the arrow was doing and sent a shimmering green arrow of his own towards Boghat, striking it in one wing and corroding away some of the softer tissue.

Priggat watched as Sandor attempted Suggestion and followed suit, asking Boghat to stand down. The dragon didn't listen and clawed towards the elderly ratfolk, but Tuuluuwaq stood in the way and sliced Boghat across the throat once more. As the beast pulled back, Booberella decided it was time for the three of them to get out of there. One unfortunate planar shift later and the three materialized back in our plane a bit worse for wear.

The Keepers of the Woods sprung out from the ice formation they had taken cover behind and charged forth. Marnu hastened the party, allowing the three to sprint faster than ever before as their battle cries rang out while charging the dragon. Vandal ran and slid beneath Boghat, slicing up its belly while manically laughing, blood pouring down onto his face. When Boghat lifted its leg up and prepared to bring it crashing down onto Vandal, Hustus acted fast and shifted the three of them to a new plane, causing Boghat to slam its claw through thin air and into the ice below.

The battle waged on. Many were wounded as Boghat used his tail whip and icy fire to great effect against them. Randall and Calius were sent crashing hard against an ice formation, ricocheting off of it and nearly falling from the mountain top ledge. Khanarak, Booberella, and Tuuluuwaq saved the two and managed to deftly dodge Boghat while doing so, allowing them to each land a critical blow against the dragon.

But it was Rok who would deliver the final blow. While it was distracted, the lightweight Rok clambered up Boghats tail and climbed across its back, holding on for dear life. When Boghat had Khanarak and Ordella lined up for a deadly blast of its icy fire, Rok dashed across the top of its head, plunging her two daggers into the dragons blue eyes. Boghat screeched out and arched its head up, blasting a plume of flames straight up into the air. It attempted to take flight, but barely made it off the ground as Rok plunged her knives deeper.

Boghat twirled and spasmed violently, spewing blood and weaker puffs of flames across the ice. With one final roar, the dragon slammed down onto the ice, sending Rok tumbling off of it and into the snow on the edge of the mountain top.

"Stabby stabs never fail!" Rok proclaimed as she rose to her feet.
