After hijacking Mansfield Stonemont's ship and sailing away from the island, a four day journey finally takes our adventurers to the city of Brinebourne, the capital of your realm and the home of King Lockhart.

You study the note that Marnu discovered in the recently deceased Giant's belongings one more time. It reads:

'YOU DID WELL. A SKILLED THIEF FOR A GIANT. MEET ME IN LANGDALE. YOUR REWARD IS TO COME.'

The note is signed with a cursive J.

You roll the parchment up and tuck it away, ready to show King Lockhart and eager to discover more leads where the crime initially took place. The ten thousand gold sum was within your reach.

A quick stroll through the port brings you to the gates of Brinebourne. The Kingsguard open them for you and several others who are both coming and going.

The city is massive. You walk through the street and take in the sheer size of it. The buildings were elegant and well maintained. The townsfolk were pleasant, but not in an eerie Langdale way.

"Right, I will send for King Lockhart. Spend your day however you would like until I return." says Akmong as his crow begins cawing uncontrollably from within its covered cage. "Lockhart has never enjoyed my bird while I as in his presence. Would one of you mind watching him for me while I seek him out?"

Main Quest #1: The Crow

Akmong needs someone to watch his crow. Cast a vote for any player of your choice. Cannot be for yourself. Whoever has the most votes by the end of the day will be placed in charge of it. You may switch your vote if you'd like. Everyone must vote! Five gold penalty at the end of the day if you don't end the day with a vote for someone.

Main Quest #2: Take Shelter

You need a place to stay for the night. Choose one of the following inns around the city. Choose as a party.

A. The Talented Seadog
B. The Left Wall
C. The Early Helm
D. The Overrated Leaf
E. The Enchanted Raccoon
F. The Dapper Bears

Side Quest #1: Side Quest!

You share stories of your travels around the city and quickly make a name for yourselves! As you roam around, several townsfolk ask you for help. Which do you choose to fulfill? Choose individually. No more than two people per side quest.

A. A talking cat follows you, promising to take you to a magical place where wine flows like water and gold litters the ground.
B. A local farmer asks you to either scare off or kill a pack of wolves that have been terrorizing his cattle periodically.
C. The library has been infested with small mimics disguised as books. Exterminate them.
D. A townswoman has been hearing strange rattling and moans coming from the abandoned house next door. She asks you to investigate.
E. A child has fallen ill and the local herbalist needs some very specific ingredients but can't leave the child unattended, the herbalist requests you to get them.
F. The local brewer's latest batch of high end whiskey has been sabotaged/cursed by fae. The five barrels already sold need reclaimed quickly and quietly less the brewery's reputation suffers.
G. The entire upper class are loosing their hair and want you to get to the bottom of it.
H. All of the Clergymen in the town have fallen deathly ill. The town elder asks you to investigate this phenomenon.
I. A string of young noblemen have turned up missing, and the only connection is that they all visited the same brothel. Investigate.
J. A plague of rats have struck the poorest streets of the city. They seem unusually focused and vicious. Seek out and quash the infestation.

Not sure what I was thinking, there's a spot missing in the Side Quest mission. One person who hasn't chosen yet may triple up on an option with two others

Your arrival at Brinebourne is productive! You and your party rent out a room, you head off on a side adventure to help out some of the townsfolks, and you are eager to meet King Lockhart to show him the note about some person hiring the giant to steal from him. You feel good about yourself, it was a day well spent and you're pleased that you and your party are beginning to make a name for yourselves as a capable adventuring party.

You can nearly smell the prize money now. Ten thousand gold pieces. All you have to do is track down the real thief and retrieve the object for the King.

Your two party members are waiting for you off to the side of the town square. You rejoin with them as well as the other six parties.

"Time to meet the King and get a move on already." you hear crowsitter Murder Bunny say as he removes the bird from its covered cage and prepares to feed it.

Suddenly, a gasp and a scream ring out in succession.

"THERE! THE THIEF" a voice calls out.

A hand is outstretched in the crowd, causing all heads to snap and follow it with their eyes. The gloved finger is pointed at a member of your group.

Murder Bunny.

"IT WAS HIM! HE STOLE IT! HE STOLE THE KING'S CROW!"

You watch as a confused Murder Bunny attempts to conceal the crow behind his back, causing it to flap its wings violently and caw out.

A dozen members of the Kingsguard descend on your position quickly. Murder Bunny makes things worse by swinging his mace around aggressively, forcing them to back off.

But the guards pounce. Murder Bunny is lost in a heap of armed guards as the rest of you try to push past them to come to his aid. Townsfolk yell and scatter in the scuffle as more guards run over and begin to pin any of you down who stand in the way.

One guard retrieves the crow as a bloodied and unconscious Murder Bunny is dragged out of the pile and placed in shackles.

Guards swarm the rest of you, guilty by association until further notice. One by one, you watch as your friends are pinned to the cold cobblestone and placed in chains.

When your turn comes, you peer through the crowd at the finger that sold out Murder Bunny. As your eyes focus, the accuser is unmistakable.
