You awaken on solid ground hours later. You cough up a geyser of salt water and sand as you crawl out of the wake and further up on the sand. You look around, vision still blurred, and see as your fellow adventurers are slowly rising to their feet as well. Your two party members approach you and help you to your feet as the three of you limp even further away from the surf, eventually crashing down in the sand together.

The beach is littered with wreckage. Wood planks, crates, barrels, torn sails. It's a graveyard.

Akmong gathers all of you together and does a head count. "That's all of us." he says as he catches his breath. "I saw him. The giant. His ship crashed ashore before ours and he took off into the jungle."

Your eyes follow Akmong's gloved, outstretched finger and look at the treeline. The jungle looks dense and no civilization is in sight. The sun beats down on you more harshly than you're used to.

You turn to your party and decide on your next move.




Main Quest #1: Explore

You're marooned on an island and the giant went inland. What's your approach? Choose as a party

A. You spot some cliffs far off. Try to reach the top.
B. Stay on the beach and search the perimeter of the island.
C. Cut through the swampland and follow the giant's trail.
D. Explore a nearby cave and see where it leads.




Main Quest #2: Marching Order

As you explore, you'll need a marching order. Decide which position in your trio you will take.

A. Take the lead
B. Stay safe in the middle
C. Back of the pack




Side Quest #1: A Safe

A safe from a ship is discovered in the wreckage. If you have a key, do you wish to open it?




Bonus Quest #1: Message in a Bottle

You may not get off of this island alive. For a bonus five gold per person, write a message in a bottle to someone (or no one in particular) and cast it into the sea. Write whatever you would like, at least a couple of sentences.


Deadline is 7 pm EST.

You listen as Marnu finishes uttering some random words from a spell book. You get halfway through thanking him when suddenly your words are cut short.

In a flash, you feel your body transform. You look on at Marnu and Hustus who take a step back out of shock. Instinctively, you look down at your meaty paws only to see metallic hands. You rush over to the ocean, slower than usual and not on all fours like you're used to.

As you stare down at your own reflection, a familiar face looks back up at you. Ahron's.

"...can robots drink milk??" you ask urgently.

ALTAR SELF. You have been turned into the same class adventurer in the party to your 'right'. If you personally receive any gold this round, it will go to them instead. This will last for one phase only.

It didn't take long for our adventurers to split up and begin searching the island, both for the giant and for salvation.




The Northerners, The Keepers of the Woods, and Get Ready to Rok headed...north...through the woods...to the rocks! The nine of them marched through the jungle together, slowly climbing up higher and higher in an attempt to reach the cliffs. Half a days walk later, the nine arrived about as high up as they could climb and scouted the island the best they could. They saw no sign of the giant in their travels, but they did spot the top of a structure nestled in a particular thick part of the jungle. Before they could set their sights on that point, a gigantic Rok swooped down and attacked the group, who had apparently wandered a bit too close to the mother Rok's nest. The attack sent them scrambling back down the mountainside, spilling some gold on their way down.

The Pack decided to stay put. Cyrillus, Rara, and Randall stuck to the safety of the beach and were determined to circle the island. As they walked through the shipwreck graveyard, it didn't take long for their keen smell to kick in. The three moved fast, noses to the ground, and sniffed out a small bit of treasure scattered among some wreckage.

Ying Yang Yang eyed the sticky, scary, slimy swamp and decided it was their best route. One hour and one horrifying encounter with a corpse flower later, the three ran back to the beach nursing their wounds.

The Assblasters and Hell's Belles went spelunking. The six discovered the entrance to a cave behind a waterfall and decided to test their luck. It didn't go very deep, but the dead end was stocked with various goods that looked like they had been pulled from the shipwrecks on the beach, including a bit of gold that the parties pocketed. "This looks like a hideout." suggested Canassa as she kicked a hoof over a single bedroll. "I wonder what they were hiding from...or who?"


Hours later, as the sun began to set, you find yourself nestled in the middle of your trio on your way back to the beach to reunite with the other parties and share what you've learned. As you're walking, your companion in the back of the pack is droning on and on about what their bottled message said, when suddenly their voice is silenced. You spin around...but they're no where to be seen. Before you can call out their name, a feathery dart is fire into the neck of your party member who took the lead, who falls down to the ground in a useless heap. You ready your weapon, now alone in the jungle, when suddenly a handful of fearsome warriors leap out of the underbrush...













































































About a dozen frogfolk surround you, spears and bows all pointed in your direction. You drop your weapons and put your hands up, but a dart sent into your neck does the rest of the surrendering for you.

As your vision slowly fades, you watch as a man, properly dressed in a white suit, moves past the frogfolk and looks down at you.

"Welcome to my island." he says with a grin as your eyes close.
