Ramsay is one of those hideous characters I find myself enjoying much more than I should.
Joffrey was petulant and stupid. But Ramsay is witty and fairly cunning, even when he does stupid things like sending Balon Greyjoy Theon's manhood. He might be more evil than Joffrey, but I find myself wishing for his death much less than I did for Joffrey's.

Yeah, I really hate that I don't hate him more. I caught myself smiling at him possibly getting to be a BOLTON because I know that'll be interesting.

Roose looks about 15 years younger this season.
Anyway, great episode! I wish his death had been more painful and drawn out, but I enjoyed seeing it and it was very satisfying for me. The only problem is I was spoiled as I was looking for the link! I already knew that there was a "purple wedding" and I knew that someone was going to die. I knew that Joffrey dies at some point in the books, and so I sort of assumed going in that he would be the one killed, but having it confrmed for me right before I started kinda sucked.
But then I was excited to see WHO would be the one to have the glorious honor, so as I watched these two episodes I had that in mind and paid extra attention to any scene with Joffrey, and then... we don't even know who did it! Really wanna see the next episode now. I liked marathoning these two together but the spoiler avoidance is too hard so I'll be watching weekly now.
The Fool showing up to get Sansa out of there was interesting.
complete speculation on the killer, no actual spoilers

That really makes me think that the Martells weren't the ones to do it. Whoever poisoned that cup is someone who's seen Joffrey and Sansa's interactions and would be able to get the Fool in on the plot. Oleyna or Varys are most likely to me, or possibly Littlefinger. I'm a little foggy on what Littlefinger was last up to, and I believe he's enroute to the Vale so setting something like this up is pretty tricky for him.
Varys is my guess, either for his own plans for the good of the realm or because someone planned it through him. Him not even being allowed to the party helps his alibi.
I don't know, and I really want to!
Stannis scenes and Bolton scenes were interesting, but... God, I really could not give less of a shit about magical Bran and his visions. The whole IM A WOLF LOL thing just made me hate it even more. I think the idea of him forgetting and getting too attached to the visions is interesting enough... I just don't care. And I can't imagine a lot of fun possibilities for where his story will take things. At least with the other meh plots (really just Dany at this point, but the Theon stuff before this, and the Shae shit) I can picture large ramifications or an end in sight. I don't see anything in Bran's future, which is ironic I guess.
Also the whole time they were going YOU'LL FORGET YOUR FAMILY! YOU'LL FORGET US! YOU'LL FORGET YOU, AND YOU'RE ALL WE HAVE!!! I was wondering who the hell these kids even are again, and why he's all they have. If its an inheriting Winterfell thing and not some terrible warg/prophecy stuff, Rickon lives on, so it's not like you really even NEED Bran.
I hope if they're going to keep up with Bran, they explain things a bit more or have them meet SOMEONE. The worst of these stories and subplots are the ones that seem like they're stuck in a vacuum. There's so much going on that if they don't progress something or cross over, it just feels like its pointless. And I'm sure this particular Bran vision was the most important and thus follows the progress rule, but they were already going North and he was already getting visions.
Rickon should just usurp Bran as King of the North and then run off to ride direwolves, and end that entire plotline.
Oh, also the midget battle was mostly severely uncomfortable, but the Robb actor's only dialogue being to yell KING OF THE NORTH!!! KING OF THE NORTH!!! was funny.

Oh my GOD, there is seven pages of discussion about just the latest fucking episode of Game of Thrones? I love this forum. I want to have little forum babies with it. And talk about Game of Thrones on them.

This forum really is nice. I don't hate anything here in particular outside of Curtis, and Curtis just fucks with me in the same way Punk (the best of the three admins) does on KMB. Though I don't think Punk would not let me see PMs.
