Well, he said he was drunk so he might've not thought things through. I think we believe the claim because it feels awfully stupid to claim something like that if it's indeed false. The fact that Perry would claim, even though he's not sure whether Rose is scum or town, makes it suspicious though.
So he could make anyone bulletproof without knowing their alignment? I didn't even think of it that way. I really hope he didn't make a mistake if he's telling the truth. If it was given to someone that was mafia or third party, it only makes them more powerful.
That's why I'm thinking it wouldn't make sense for him to announce it like that to save someone who's alignment he doesn't even know.

The only way we're gonna find out anything about Rose or Perry Panda is if we lynch one of them. If they're town scum's probably gonna keep them around because the whole thing's a bit suspicious so they might hope we lynch them. Plus, if Rose is town then scum has no chance of lynching her until at least Panda has been taken care of. Do we have more to gain from a lynch on any of those two or by leaving them alone?
