This space will be updated whenever new features/fixes are rolled out. In the near future we plan to share a backlog/roadmap with everyone so you can get a peek at what's (potentially) to come and help further shape the future of NDim.
Disclaimer: new features/fixes may be a bit slow going for a while as ancient code is learned, infrastructure decisions are explored, limited free time, etc etc. But I'll do what I can!

If you run into any bugs with anything that gets rolled out, feel free to let us know in this forum or on Discord. Between a dusty codebase and there not exactly being a dedicated QA for this project, it's certainly possible! Especially as we get into any bigger features. But, obviously, will aim to keep them minimal!

Update #1: YouTube embeds
- [ video ] (the new default for video embeds) and [ youtube ] tags can now be used as alternative tags rather than [ flash ][ /flash ] (which will still be supported for backwards compatibility, even though Flash itself died long ago)

- youtu.be links copied from mobile now work

-- this is something that has tripped up many in the past since there's not an easy way to copy the fully qualified URL when you're on your phone, so should prevent confusion with that going forward
- default aspect ratio has been changed, rather than showing video embeds in a 1:1 box, they'll now be in 16:9 which is the youtube default

Update #2: Topic Deletion

Looked like the issue was isolated to deleting threads without polls. Of course, if you still run into any issues let us know

Update v2.0.4: Board Registration

- the "Create your own free forum today" link now...isn't broken! 😱 We're still not at the stage where you can actually create your own free forum on your own, but this will streamline the process quite a bit rather than having to hunt down Curtis like has been the case for much of Ndim's history. Instead, you'll notice the link leads to a Google Form with some basic info needed for your forum. Once you submit this form, all of the ndim staff will immediately be notified on Discord, so the turnaround should be relatively quick

- a very small quality of life improvement for those new boards is the default smiley code for this guy :cool: is being changed from B) to : cool : (without spaces). No more of him unexpectedly sneaking into bulleted lists

- sadly, the requested feature of a configurable user setting for PMs per page is surprisingly unattainable...for now. But in the meantime, the hardcoded PMs per page has been increased from 15 -> 25. A compromise!

A couple recently requested features from the Discord!

- Added a "View As" group dropdown for admins on the bottom bar, next to the Admin/Report CPs. This will allow you to select a member group and view the main forum page as that group.
-- This was the most basic implementation of that request, so feel free to provide any feedback if there's any further features/tweaks you'd like to see here

there was a styling issue with the "View As" dropdown where it wouldn't match the rest of the skin styling. This has been fixed, but due to ~ndim things~, you'll need to go to Skin Builder and save (no changes needed) for it to take effect
