We don’t have a formal thread for this and I think it’s probably time…

Post the title of your latest read here and, if you feel so inclined, whether you’d recommend it! (We could do like Goodreads and do a 1-5-star rating).

My last read: A Gentleman in a Moscow. Very enjoyable read and the end makes every page worth it. 5/5

Live By Night by Dennis Lehane. He's had a bunch of books turned into movies. This is one of them. I haven't seen the film lol I enjoyed the book more than I thought I would as it's not the type of book I'd typically read. (4/5)

The Nordic Theory of Everything - I'm actually listening to the audio book which is pretty good. A Finnish author who became a US Citizen basically explains why a lot of things they do in Nordic countries can lead to a better life/more happiness than the way we do them in the US. (in a gentle way lol)

The Gathering Storm, 12th book of the Wheel of Time series.

It's fantasy.

4/5. It's a refreshing read from the previous books before in the series.

I've been listening to the audiobook. I don't have the patience to sit inside and read a book for longer than 30 minutes, so audiobook it is!

I'm reading Rich Dad/Poor dad, it's all about investing/managing money and growth.

Finished the 14th and final book yesterday of the WOT series.

Towers of Midnight, 4/5 score. It was just as good as the previous book. That's as much as I'm going to say I guess. It was a good read.

A Memory of Light, 4.5/5 score. It was a really good finale, but not perfect. I couldn't justify giving it a 5 score, but it's almost as much as I can ask from a series and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

I would recommend these books if you're into fantasy, but it's a big investment and it wasn't at its best sometimes after the halfway point. If you are not into fantasy, you'd def not enjoy them.

I go through a book or two a week during my commute to work and back. I just let my phone read them to me.

I run audio books when I work. Best use of my time tbh.

Combining productivity and enjoyment.
