I thought you were just making a joke because I say Bret and her are very OTT. But yeah, she seems to be a super fan though. When I met her at Hearts of Reality, she was wanting pictures with everyone. So, maybe she's just really into it. I can't stand all the tweeting though. Her and Bret both followed and were tweeting pretty much the whole cast of S36 before they were even officially out there.

But lots of Survivors do this. It's like they never stop playing the game. Always interacting in case they ever need to align with them in the game someday. :P

She hopped on a podcast with some dude who used to do a segment on RHAP. Then I guess he branched off and made it his own thing and she's a part of it? Don't know how that happened.

Lynne Spillman, Survivor casting director was fired.
Huge blow, this could be the beginning of the end of the show
With all the twists/rigging the only thing that saved the show was it nailing the casting
Very important position, if they get the wrong person the show will def suffer

Yikes. I saw rumors she was getting let go on reddit, but fired? What on earth could she have done to get her fired? She's been a rockstar at her job for almost 20 years. That's maddening.

Just the next cycle I'm pretty sure. I wonder how significant she was to casting returnee seasons and if it'll affect 40 at all.

That's what I think, kinda. 20 years of the same casting viewpoints, you'd think the show might need some freshening up to get things to change.

But, truly, the thing that needs to change is Probst being a producer! Casting means nothing, really. They all go to Probst and the producers anyway and they give the final say on the cast. Ultimately, Lynne just finds the group of people and who officially gets on is decided by others.

That weird tribal twist in the merge? I can't remember what exactly happened but I just remember it was weird. Not the fake tribal with 2 tribes. I also want to how the fuck that bitch won, she seems to be one of the worst winners looking from the outside. How did she make it to the end and did anything significant happen?
