Yep- the chi for Christ is pretty common, including the use in the chi-rho symbol used to represent Christ. It's a quick abbreviation, like in Xmas.

I wanted to be a teacher for a long time, but the pay is awful, especially for what teachers have to go through. Professor works as an answer as well.
