I stopped watching this somewhere in Season 2 and I forgot where. I kind of want to pick it back up/finish it before I lose my free HBO. When does it end?

Episode 2 starts with the theme song from 80's sitcom Perfect Strangers.

Really great. Scott Glenn killed it. I love these tragic comedy side journey episodes like Matt's two centric episodes
The monologue at the end was brutal. The kids thinking both their parents departed so they tried to get to town on foot. BRUTAL |

so is this series going to end the way it's supposed to? They knew going in that season 3 would be its last? I want to start watching, that's why I'm asking.

Yup! They thought they'd get cancelled after S1 and S2. Nearly cancelled after S2 but HBO gave them a final one to wrap it up

I rarely have more fun watching tv than I had watching the two International Assassin episodes. This one was great. The music cues are amazing and strangely funny when timed right, like when he guessed that Patti was his Secretary of Defense and that score SOARED.
All of it is just so.....bizarre, comical, poignant. I thought for sure Laurie was gonna show up and Kevin would be shocked to learn she died. "We fucked up with Nora" was such a simple line but really hit hard
With a new song in each intro I was hoping the S1 intro song would be used in the finale. I was so excited to hear it at the start of this one. Really curious what they use for the finale now if not that one
Can't believe there's only one episode left. This season has been amazing |

Series over. I am distraught. One of the best final stretches to a series I've seen
What a masterpiece of a show

Just finished this a couple days ago, this might be one of my favorite series of all times. It was pretty fucking perfect from beginning to end.

This definitely was my favorite series of all time. I'll put some mild spoilers, but none of them will really ruin the show:
|
I was kind of disappointed that we didn't get a more satisfying finish to John, Erika, Tommy, and Jill in the finale. We got to see them briefly, but they don't get a tight bow like Kevin & Nora did. I also think the story telling aspects of S3 just weren't as captivating as Season 2. It was much more choppy.
Things I loved:
-The finale, Nora's story
-Matt's lion episode
-The trampoline
-The submarine scene
-The Grace and Christopher Sunday characters
-Getting brief returns of minor/dead characters throughout the series: Kevin Sr., Evie, Mary, Michael, Christine, Meg, Patty, the mom, the dog guy, etc.
