In 4 episodes I've literally never been more into a show than Lost. Those board members still here from my first day should understand how big of a statement that is.

yah yah good show, another very good episode.
The MIB and Lawrence duo reminds me of Blondie and Tuco from Good, Bad & The Ugly
Not sure if I buy the different timelines theory. And personally, I don't think that would be a good direction to go in. It feels like a good story is coming together and a curve ball like that may ruin it. |

Episode 4 was good
There's gotta be some big twist involving who Arnold is/what exactly happened to him. I think I'm more interested in Arnold than I am the maze

I've watched the first 3. Pretty good | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

That MIB/Ford meeting was great. I was pretty shocked when MIB actually started threatening him with a knife. Shit just got SERIOUS! I dunno how he expects to get to the maze when he knows Ford can turn the whole park on him
And apparently MIB has never even SEEN Arnold before? Adds even more mystery to him. Like Curtis said there's definitely gotta be a big revelation coming there
Will's actually starting to wear on me, he's just TOO much of a straight arrow. Maybe he'll start to get more depth now that he's turned on his brother-in-law/is running off with Delores. Was his brother-in-law SMILING at the end? Was this all part of his plan somehow to get Will to break out of his bubble?? He did seem to know exactly where this sidequest headed last week so I guess it's possible, but it might be giving him too much credit (: I was surprised how violent the hosts were getting with him, punching him in the face and shit. He seemed surprisingly okay with it! |

I was wondering if MIB could somehow be Arnold up until that scene (: . I can't shake the idea that Arnold is still alive and could be someone we've seen before. The meeting scene was rly good
Also that LOOK AHEAD preview at the end was exciting. Seems like shit gets real |

MOVIE SPOILER
Just my idea of how things could play out based on something that happens in the movie
|
For anyone who saw the movie (Vlady?), was Brolin's character the dickish one and his friend was the kinder one? Brolin was the one who died by the gunslinger and then the other sorta became the main character. I might be remembering that all wrong, but I feel like that could happen here. They could be making William the likable one who ends up being the first guest casualty from the hosts malfunctioning, then his brother in law has an elevated role in his place |

Also, one quick theory:
|
Dude with Will keeps remarking on family and family business. He's also a bit overzealous in his dispatching of hosts and the like, kinda like MIB. They part of the same family? |
|
|
He could BE MiB. There's a theory floating around that all the stuff with Will is 30 years prior to the stuff with MiB. I go back and forth on if i like this theory. |
|
|
This is kinda cool, I hadn't considered something like this playing out. Like the idea that William IS the MIB but however many years prior. It'd explain Lawrence showing up in a new spot so fast (I think it was fast?? idk, the timeline of everything confuses me). But this episode feels like it could start William down a darker path and his introduction to Lawrence could be a fun nod to him dragging him around 30 years later. MIB says something about how an old friend told him to forge his own path and I think Dolores said something similar to William
The timeline of everything going on inside the park and inside the lab is pretty hard to follow and I have no idea if anything contradicts these theories |

I think this episode definitely added more fuel to the fire for the dual timeline theory (which after last week I thought had been all but debunked). Another one is that Lawrence says that they're "friends now" to Will, and MIB repeatedly calls Lawrence an "old friend"
One thing that I think contradicts it a bit though is that MIB points out to the boy that someone will come along for Lawrence soon, which I assumed was referring to the park staff. Unless it was to throw us off it seemed like this line was there to explain why we see Lawrence pop up again later. Although I do find it really weird that this park would allow characters to come back to life after they die in a park "cycle". Like what if a guest killed a host and ran into them again later in their visit? That'd completely ruin the immersion. I'm a little bit hazy on how all the cycle/character resetting works in general though
I will say though I really hope this particular theory isn't true. I think the show's got enough going on if it's just in one timeline as it is. Plus it'd make Dolores' story feel a bit pointless since we'd know she just ends up back in her loop again by the time MIB returns to the park |

Ya, pretty sure Brolin was the asshole who was killed by the gunslinger.
William and Logan are pretty much that same pair of characters, it seems. If they decide to follow the same arc, Logan will probably end up getting killed by one of the hosts. Though the suggestion that they might flip that on its head and make William the first victim is an interesting one! |

Speaking of William/Logan, I'm underwhelmed by both those characters. They seem very one note in comparison to the rest of the cast.
This was one of the most eventful episodes so far, very entertaining. Really loving the choice of music.
That orgy whorehouse place felt like it could have been a nod to Ancient Rome scenes from the original movie.
I was a bit confused by one moment in the ep. When Dolores saw herself in that crowd and fainted, and was then interrogated by Anthony Hopkins, why didn't anybody notice her disappear? She was back with William/Logan in the next scene as if nothing had happened. It seemed a bit muddled to me.
Also, has Lawrence changed roles? He doesn't seem to be playing the same character. |

What do you mean? I think the indication is this is his usual role, but in the earlier episodes MIB found him after he was caught and was about to be hanged for his crimes |
