Flying is so ridiculously hard in GTA V |
San Andreas was the worst. I fondly remember all the GTA message boards back in the day being flooded with people begging for a way to skip the flight school missions and move on with the story. Fuck James Woods to hell.
I don't really have much trouble in V except for landing. I could never do Trevor's airstrip missions cause when it came to landing and completing the mission, I always crashed. |

That was the one that always got me too. I think we all complained about it in the GTA thread around the same time. I crashed a countless amount of times in a row trying to stick that landing

Played a little Alan Wake a few hours ago. I bought it months and months ago, sucked balls in the first stage and then never touched it again. I'm actually really enjoying it though |
I'm kind of mad at myself for ignoring this game for so long. I'm on the last episode which I'll probably do Sunday night. Seems kind of short but I recall buying it for dirt cheap so eh. |

One of my favorite games. I want to replay it, or maybe just watch a playthrough on Youtube.

I don't play very many video games. I own a PS3. Used to really only play the WWE games. And I like the Fallout series.
But just yesterday (I'm way behind on the times), I bought Mass Effect 2 and Assassin's Creed for $4.95 each. They'll be new to me as I've never played either of them, and it's nice not to spend a bunch of money. I've started Mass Effect. It's fun but I need to get used to the gameplay.

So I guess you never played Mass Effect 1? It's a great series.

I haven't played the first one. The guy at the store said I'd lose so many hours playing this one.

I think you do miss out on some things if you just jump right into 2, because you carry over your character from 1 and some of the relationships with your crewmates won't be as strong. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |

I did the same thing, jumping right into ME2 and never played 1 or 3.
It's a great game, but I really wish I had started with 1 to complete the experience. I'll probably never play the first now since I know everything that happens. And I'll probably never play 3 cause the massive amount of complaining about it's ending scared me away from ever playing it, which is dumb cause it's probably really good gameplay wise anyway.
Assassin's Creed is a load of fun too. I'm not crazy about the first one as it's extremely repetitive (still fun, nevertheless) but the second and it's two spin-offs are extremely well done. Unfortunately it kind of went to shit with III. |

I agree it would have been better to carry over my character from the first game, but it's still been so much fun. And for less than $5 even. Great value. :P

I played Double Dash with friends for the first time in years the other day after years of being used to the physics in Mario Kart Wii... and it was really difficult to get control of my kart lol. It's a great game but I just couldn't readapt to the old physics | Please ask me on October 1st if they woke me up. I've literally never heard it before and I'm definitely not tired of it. |

a) yes
b) shit is going down in the streets, not up in the air |
I'm actually okay with the flying in GTA, except for the fucking turbulence and helicopters (but practice makes perfect).
And if it's in the streets? Fuck it. Not going near that.

I gave flying a 2nd chance, before PSN got DDOS'd on sunday, and it was okay I guess. Got to get used to it, then it's not a chore anymore, still not that easy to handle | "There he goes. Max Payne 3! Jumped back into it since PSN went down. totally worth it. can't get more intense than this. every shootout is just a beautiful mess of bullets, animations and blood.
action-packed like no other third person shooter in my opinion. and it's damn competitive. most underrated game in a looong time. the player base is not huge, it's rather small I guess, but enough to get a session going and enjoy the genius of epic slow motion bloodshed | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

My Bioshock download finally finished the other day, but I've been too tired to start playing.
