I just got a silly email from a company I purchased something from asking for feedback. Pretty standard but I thought the totally unprofessional way of constructing these words was funny.

Dear KC,
Thanks so very much for ur order on our Smays. Could you pls kindly let us know how did this item meet your expectations? Any of your comments is very important to us that so we can improve our quality and service to all of the customer. |
Then it dawned on me... Smays. Sounds familiar. This is the fucking company I dealt with during Secret Santa who sent poor Boc a broken Agent 76 mask. And I swore I would never buy from them again!
I don't remember if I ever publicly posted about this ordeal of mine and Carter's , but I had the worst time dealing with these people over several fuck ups from them.

This item was meant as a Secret Santa gift for another person. Your mask was broken completely in half upon opening. You can view this here: https://youtu.be/A_4WWXN2Qjg?t=2m5s
I got my refund and ordered a second one. This one did not arrive to the recipient at all. Package said it was delivered, but he never received it. It was possibly stolen, which is not a surprise for an item that is $80.
How do we go about getting my money back or a replacement shipped? This has been a nightmare.
Smays
Dear KC Wolf,
I feel very sorry about what you have been through. This delivery by amazon is quite a disaster, I suggest you ask amazon about your second order's delivery, prove this item hasn't been received yet and then ask for a refund.
Regards,
Eric

There's no way to contact Amazon about this. As far as I knew, third party sellers were supposed to ensure the A-to-Z guarantee. You hired UPS to perform a task for you and they failed. An item as expensive as this should have been signed for, not left to be stolen at an apartment complex. How am I supposed to prove this?
This has nothing to do with Amazon. You guys used Amazon as a platform to sell something which failed twice to get to it's buyer. I need this fixed.
Smays
Dear KC Wolf,
I just check your order and statue is "Refund Applied". So can i treat this thing a finished stuff? We shipped our well placed product to amazon's warehouse, and then the delivery break it into pieces, and one missing! So, who are the winner, you or me? No one. And of course, amazon still can charge us even it's a fail deal. It is just the fact what we think you may want to know, not complains. If you have any other questions or suggestions, please reply to us.
Regards,
Eric |
I needed an Amazon Echo power cord as Rusty Lou had chewed the original and just got the first one I saw, didn't bother to look who was selling it. Well... it works so far I guess (: |

Just dug this tick out of my eye and I'm thoroughly creeped out for the night. Has anyone else had a tick lodge itself into their lower eyelid? Because what the fuck...?! Regretting moving to a swamp now.
|
I have yet to get a tick here in all my time, though I did have one walking across our patio one time. I started hitting it with various chemicals and then set it on fire.
I hate ticks.

I've heard of ticks, but never had one. I figured they would be more common by the coast with the humidity and stuff.

Ticks love long grasses. If you stay out of long grasses, you should be mostly protected from ticks.

I'm not sure a tick pokemon actually exists. There is a grub though.
