A found footage style horror movie about a couple heading to where the first footage and prints of a supposed sasquatch/Bigfoot were found. The guy is obsessed with finding proof and the girlfriend just barely tolerates/humors the obsession and trip because it's his birthday. It reminded almost exactly of Blair Witch Project, and it is more or less Blair Witch Project except with Bigfoot, and it's an extremely slow burn. Almost excruciatingly so, which I didn't expect from a movie that's only a little over an hour long. I liked it, but I could see it boring the shit out of a lot people. It wasn't quite as great as I was imagining it would be after having heard Bobcat Goldthwait promote this movie on a few radio shows last year.
Not really a fan of samurai movies but I enjoyed it

That ending was nuts. Maaaybe a bit TOO much really. The middle portion of the battle got pretty repetitive. But the beginning where those giant fences start appearing, explosions, and the FLAMING COWS was pretty crazy. And I liked the conclusion. The shots of the aftermath were great
A little more characterization would've been nice but meh. Pretty much the only two guys I cared about were the leader and the gambler. I didn't really care when the rest of them died. Would've been pretty hard to give 13 characters their due in such a short timeframe though
ALSO THAT LIMBLESS GIRL. AHHHH!! AHHHHH!!!! I WAS EATING
Winter's Tale - really enjoyed it even though I was sort of lost at the beginning. :$
And to balance out the serious movie, we followed it with Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Now the kids know where all my random quotes are from lol
A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.
I've been showing my fiance Red vs Blue because it's one netflix. It's fun rewatching it, and each season stands alone as a sort of movie. Kind of looking forward to seeing some of the later seasons. I stopped on Season 5 when it "ended"
I thought this was pretty funny, had a couple of really good gags - like the Robert De Niro party. My life feels pretty empty from having never attended one. And I couldn't not enjoy a movie that has both Rose Byrne and an attempted elbow drop during a fight sequence. I am a Seth Rogen mark, though.
Guardians of the Galaxy - I know that Marvel movies have been greeted pretty COLDLY around here but I think this is easily the best of them. It's funny, touching, and has a great cast with great chemistry. The soundtrack is ballin too
