That's why he wasn't on trial for price raising. He was on trial for securities fraud. He was convicted on three charges of securities fraud. He will serve some (probably none) jail time for those crimes.

I'm holding off judgmdgment until sentencing and post-trial motions. All I can say is fuck the DOJ, I think he's an easy target with a lot of $$ that doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut, so many people probably have done much worse things on Wall Street but are smarter about it. This case had nothing to do with him raising the price of the drug, it was about him allegedly defrauding investors. I do think the DOJ tried to throw the book at him hoping some shit would stick due to his portrayal in the media. I definitely think he wouldn't be in such a pickle if he kept his mouth shut. And about raising the price of the drug, I think his first job is to the shareholders. I think everyone here would do the exact same thing, especially when tens of millions of dollars are on the line. I don't think you can say with certainty what you would do in his spot without being there. I think the vitriol he has had towards him is very unwarranted.
