but then, thanks to places like /pol/, it shifted towards outright white nationalism and is no longer anti-capitalist except to be anti-corporatist (and often antisemitic in the process).

frankly, i don't find it to be a "dumb term". it's intended to signal an alternative for rightists besides the GOP, and i think it signals that well.

There's a LOT of music about "race, religion, sexuality or the like", how do you tell it "favours hatred or incites violence" and what if it is satire?
