With 10 people participating, we'll only be able to take each person's top 6 after the first round. So yeah, two of your songs won't make it through the seeding round.

Yeah I see. I thought only 3 would make it and I wouldn't feel as bad for the 5. But just 2 will hurt!

Round 1 is where everybody has their 8-song playlists available to be voted on. Following those votes, I'll rank each person's songs from 1-8 based on the voting (ties broken by random draw). Then, I'll place each of those songs into the bracket at their designated places. The #1 song from the four people randomly selected will receive byes in the opening bracket round, but their other 5 songs will be in head-to-head match-ups to determine a winner.

I set it up where each person's top-4 songs were in different "regions", and then two songs from a person couldn't meet against each other (theoretically) until the final 8.

My songs will clearly all be #1 seeds

I'm excited to see everyone's playlists and then which of my songs will get left behind by the vote.

Also, it would be cool to have like "pre-fight" interviews where we talk about why we picked that song, etc. :P

I'm being silly now. But I think it'd be fun to have background information on some of the selections.

I hope our songs don't have to pass drug tests before the tournament starts.
