For some reason I don't believe you.

So...here's a horrible wall of text for you all. Not everyone is listed here, these are just some players that I've come up with some new thoughts on

Town

Ahoda - I think he is feeling rather useless this game, which is too bad. I spotted his claim though, and he can go in my town pile for the time being.

Tib - Reading back, he's had some pretty bad reads throughout the whole game, and has consistently been on the wrong side of lynches. But it's fairly obvious what his role is, and tbh I think he may as well just spell it out for us so we can confirm him.

Nav - I think I've been completely wrong about Nav. He was indeed one of the first to call Vic out, and for the right reasons too:

Vic coming in and defending Herm out of the blue didn't seem organic at all

He was skeptical about the Darkus lynch on Day 5, and when Zach pulled his fake gun stunt, he suggested these targets:

In my notes last night I speculated that Nav might have gone quiet because of how wrong he was about Herm. He confirmed that was the case today. But what was most convincing was the way he went after Vic yesterday. You could argue they were distancing, but if that was the case, then it was very self destructive for the Mafia. I have a solid town read on Nav now. Sorry for doubting you.

I called her out for this at the time, but she had barely posted at all during the day, didn't offer any insights or anytihng, and threw a lynch on Helios towards the end of the day. I called her out for this, but she justified her vote by saying she had been reading. Effectively admitting she is lurking. And then there is this:

I feel strange about the Havo train. I get why people are pushing for him, since Kenny wasn't a great gun target... but I likely would have done something similar. Without a strong inkling to who it could be, picking a random low-count poster is an okay choice. I'm leaning towards Henry

I can't recall a single positive insight she's offered all game, she's coasting by and hopping on easy lynches. This was one of the only times I could find where she actually tried to give her thoughts. And it was to defend Havo. Maybe I'm being unfair and I just missed a lot of her better posts. But imo, she is likely scum.

So Shawn came out defending Havo pretty hard on Day 6. He was one of his most vocal defenders. However, I shared the same sentiment at this point in the day, and agreed with this post here:

Also, how is Havo killing an inactive Kenny any more suspicious than Rose killing an inactive Boc. A lot of people including myself thought at least one of them two could be scum. I don’t find Havo killing Kenny as suspicious as most people.

(albeit, at this same time I also started I had doubts and speculated Shawn was defending his scum buddy)

Shawn Day 6

Havo killing choosing Kenny wasn’t suspicious to me, but as other point out it was they way he killed kenny that was more suspicious and I agree with that. Also Havo hasn’t had the best track record this game, all though not many people have.

So that was Shawn’s defence of Havo up until his claim. After his claim it is a very different story, with Shawn quickly changing his mind. Reading his posts after Havo’s claim, I’m getting a town vibe from him. His posts read like he was genuinely reasoning out why Havo was in fact scum. I don't think scum Shawn would have blatantly defended Havo like that.

Reading back through his other posts I can't find much. He said he had trouble keeping up with the game Day 4, and speculated there was at least one other scum on his day 2 lynch train. Called out Zach and TiB. On day 5 he said that if Darkus was scum then he was really bad at it.

Mittens
Leaning town but I want him to claim. I doubt we were lucky enough to get a train going on two scum yesterday, and reading back through posts from scum who have flipped, Mittens as scum just doesn't make sense to me.

Brian - I figure Brian is probably town, but there's an outside chance his role was a scum role. The possibility should be thrown out there, just in case. There's also this:

I am very confused why so many have listed Shadow as town. Perhaps I missed something vital on Day 2 or 3 as I haven't read them, but on Days 4, 5 and 6 I can't find anything that makes me believe he is town. If anything, some of his posts give me red flags

At first I thought Sock was a weird mafia kill because he had suspicions. But I guess the fact he could skill scum was dangerous. Surprised Rose made it through the night

Posts like these two just seem scummy to me. He isn't really saying anything here. Shadow also low key defended Havo on several occasions, and advocated for Mittens instead.

I wouldn't touch Jackie or Havo. I say this with no good reason but I get decent vibes from them compared to the others. The rest you listed I either get bad vibes from or think inactive

Shadow Day 6

I don’t think Havo killing Kenny should get him lynched. It was a bad choice but I can see why he picked an inactive. I don’t get why Rose picked Boc but it’s along the same line of thinking

Kind of want to lynch mittens as well. He’s been a target whose survived thus far without much defense

But in his defense, he was willing to switch to Vic, and he got good vibes from me, which suits me.

I guess I'm still unsure on Shadow. Maybe someone who remembers Day 2/3 better can enlighten me as to why he made so many peoples town lists back then.

Honestly, who knows? The curse thing has probably worked in her favour if she is scum, because it is the perfect excuse for someone to skate by and not contribute.



Rose
I feel much the same as before with Rose. But I did find an interesting quote from her which gives me pause.

This was BEFORE she claimed, and it seems like a pretty clear breadcrumb. Which either hints that she thought her fake claim through well in advance, or she really is town. The logistics of two town killers is the biggest stumbling block though.

Her initial attempt to dismiss the theories against her was suspicious. Rather than engage with it, it’s like she just wanted it to go away.

Killing Boc was a mistake. There were so many better targets, but she went for a shot in the dark. In my opinion, there were plenty of better options. Third Party would have recognised that Mafia were taking a lot of hits and that town needed to be whittled down a bit more. Third Party Rose is in a difficult position right now, where she has to balance her night kills with her own interests, and what will make her look town. I don’t think she would have wanted to kill Vic last night if she could have helped it.

Timmah

Timmah feels like town to me. The only thing that really bothered me reading back was the highlighted sentence in this post:

I think I have confused the objects passed around. JJ passed a cursed tape and brian passed a book, and it was the book that killed Porl? I have had Vern penciled in as town after the reveal of Ari visiting him, but that could be a mafia role to I suppose. Henry went hard after the SK a lot, to the point it seemed like he had info on Helios. Which was making me lean town on him. But, it is possible that the mafia had figured out what Helios was and Henry was using this as a way to look good. I think even with JJ's info about how Kat got that gun, in my mind there is still a lot showing that Kat is likely town. I would not lynch: ME, Ahoda, rose, JJ, brian, Ari, or shadow. Probably wouldn't lynch im317 either, though he's not technically town. What I do want is for Darkus to give us his cop results (unless he's walking back from that claim).” - Timmah, Day 5 Maybe I’m overthinking this, but it seems like Timmah had already figured out Vernon’s role here, and this was before Vernon actually claimed. “Zach, I was hoping you’d shoot someone like boc or Kenny. Because at least that would answer a question about people that I had to go back and make sure we’re actually playing. No gun is disappointing!”

This was before Vernon claimed, which I found a bit odd. It was like he knew Vernon's role beforehand. Am I just reading too much into this? As I said, getting a town read from Timmah otherwise, and for this to be the case both Timmah and Vernon would have to be scum. Tempted to move him up if nobody else sees anything suspicious in this. Speaking of Vernon tho...

Vernon
So I'd love to put Vernon back on my town list, but I have a theory. The role Vernon has claimed could easily be a scum role. Unless a mafia doctor is to flip at some point, I'd say it's possible Vernon is Mafia with a protective role. I think the caveat that his role would trigger for everything except kills is interesting, and I considered that maybe he also learnt the role of the first person to visit him. Maybe Mafia learnt that Ari was Doctor, and took him out first chance they got. They had to deal with sock the following night, as he was directly threatening to kill either Spin, Paul or Timmah (2 at least proven to be scum).

I might be completely wrong, but I've had scum vibes from Vernon all game, and I found it odd that Ari was the Mafia's target the other night.

Also, can we talk about how Vernon almost reversed the lynch right near the end yesterday? That was not a good look. Granted, Town Buffy was also culpable of taking part in those shenanigans

Our German friend is an enigma. He is indecipherable. I literally have no thoughts on Henry one way or the other after reading back. I suppose this stands in his favour:

Merc hasn't really done anything, it seems to me. He couldn't even muster a defence the other day beyond losing 'passion' for mafias or something like that. He posted this about Havo last night when pressed:

Have was posting almost 3 hours before he shot and had the gun the whole time, or at least had the role assigned to him. No real pressure or indication he was gonna shoot, then he lynches 1 person and shoots another, which I hate. So leaning scum, despite believing his claim is possible.

I oscillate between lazy town and barely trying scum with Merc. I'd like him to claim today, because if he is town, it would be the least he can do to help clear things up a bit.
