OH FUCK
|
DOUG STAMPER. I'm so happy |
|
|
Was anyone else worried he was gonna DIE in the first episode? I would've been so mad haha. For some reason I kept fearing for his life throughout the entire thing. I thought they would rip him right back away |

I'm so fucking happy Doug is alive. He is by far the best character on the show and adds so much to his scenes. |

on episode 11 and im a little underwhelmed tbh
the only thing this season has really improved upon is the acting and cinematography. it just seems a little stagnant everywhere else.

I'm up to E3 so far before I took a break.
|
I really like it. The early reviews about the first episodes being very boring concerned me, but I disagree with them thus far. It's interesting seeing Frank struggling now after being able to almost flawlessly maneuver his way into the oval office. And the Doug side story has been so great. |

I watched the first two episodes
|
Yay Doug! It's been pretty good. Looking forward to the rest. |

Curtis' reaction is the sole reason I am turning Episode 1 on right now. He will also be to blame when my girlfriend gets made at me for watching it without her. I hope you can carry this burden. |
She logged on to Netflix and saw I watched. She is borderline irate right now.

Did she accept the blame on Curtis? | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Just finished, no-spoiler thoughts:
|
So disappointing. It's a filler season. Feels like I watched 5 episodes tbh. |
Spoiler rant, caps warning:
|
THAT'S FUCKING IT? SHE JUST WALKS OUT? THAT WAS PRETTY CLEAR THE SECOND THE FIRST PREVIEW CAME OUT TWO MONTHS AGO.
AND AFTER THREE FUCKING SEASONS OF A DOUG/RACHEL BUILD UP SHE APPEARS ONE EPISODE JUST TO BE KILLED OFF? WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE POINT OF ALL OF THAT? WHAT SHIT WRITING.
NETFLIX JUST WANTS TO DRAW IT OUT. |
Spoiler coherent thought:
|
The biggest problem this season is that Frank was just a one-dimensional asshole, and they could've covered the ground they did here in 5 episodes in Season 2. The only danger Frank was in this entire time was the danger of not getting re-elected. They successfully neutered absolutely all of the minor threats to him- why have those characters fleshed out in the first place if you're going to ship Gavin to Mexico and kill off Rachel? Jeneane and Lucas aren't even IN this season. |

FREDDY!!! I was hoping the camera panning down the line would reveal someone surprising, wasn't sure who though. I was trying to think of who it could be but he never came to mind |
