BUT anyway, everyone is hype for Brazil tomorrow but I'm more stoked for Germany vs. Mexico. I'm about to post up in my soccer bar from 10am to like 4pm tomorrow and just watch the World Cup all day.

It's tough for me because I tend to root for Mexico and I feel like they're underdogs, but I'm a big German NT fan. OCHOA VS. NEUER MY HEART IS TORN.

I understand spoiler tags for like...TV programs but for sporting events I think they're downright silly.

My comment was for those that get pissed when they come here and read something that they wanted to watch on TV first :)

All of my European friends in DC and my friends back in England...it's weird. I think they think Brazil is going to win the whole thing this year though, so that's probably why, but it's not like Switzerland is going to be the best way to gauge that.

So far Portugal vs. Spain and Iceland vs. Argentina have been the only previews into who the big contenders are going to be, I think.


But yeah I think I'll root for Germany tomorrow, too. I'll be rooting for Mexico against pretty much anyone else (except Spain), especially if they make it out of the group rounds.

Who do you think will make it out of Group F? I have Sweden making it out over Mexico but I think it'll probably end up being Mexico.

I think Mexico will take it, both Sweden and SK have a chance of getting through though, it's an interesting group.

But yeah I agree. I think it’s the most interesting group of the bunch. I’m also paying close attention to Group H because I think people tend to underestimate all four of those teams (don’t get me wrong, though—I don’t think our World Cup winner is in that group lmao).
