Hitting the end of an amazing night of hoppy beers from New England. Tonight I had a Melcher St. from Trillium, followed up by Squeeze from Great Rhythm, Divine Encounter and Citra both from Garrison City, and finishing up as I post with a Mastermind from Fiddlehead.
Bonus round:
Drank a Westie 12 a couple days ago. (Not hoppy but one of if not the best beers in the world.)

I'm normally sceptical of pumpkin ale, but I was feeling rather festive yesterday and decided to get some Dogfish Head pumpkin brown ale from Whole Foods yesterday. Was going to pop open a bottle tonight. Anyone tried it? | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Yes- punkin is decent. I've tried quite a few and it is not bad.
My favorites tend to be more pumpkin imperial stouts- less pumpkin pie and more roast coffee flavor.

Just went to the liquor store, here's the haul.
The ones you can't read are 5x La Fin du Monde, 7x Rochefort 10 (Cleared out the store).

A couple of guys were next to me and said, hey we should get some Ainstock.
I should have told them it's Aynstoek, but I CBF'd, true story.
Then I found a tenner. | |
